This is a shot vlog showing the capabilities of the Sigma17-50mm Lens. Travelling to the Peak District using this lens for the entire vlog. let me know what you think of Sigma Lens in the comments below!
Hi, I need help. I just bought a 17-50 mm sigma lens for my Nikon 5300 but the autofocus is not detecting it and I don't know what to do. I already updated the camera's firmware to 1.03 and nothing. First time that the camera gives me this problem because I have the 50 mm and the 70-300 and neither of them had given me this problem And the truth is that it is very difficult for me to focus manually. Thank you
I don’t find the motor at all noisy, what I ah e noticed is the that at low apertures, it’s extremely “soft”! 2.8-5.6 at 50mm is terrible! So disappointed in this lens for that!
I'm very disappointed in this lens for photography. I've been shooting between 2.8 and 5.6 and its indeed very soft, missing focus a lot, and generally not rendering images well. Also, i don't know if it's just my perception but images seem 'noisy' even at iso 400 compared to some of my other lenses such as the canon nifty-50. Feel like ive just wasted money on it. Ill give it a try soon for landscapes and see if it fares much better at f8-11..... but still, thats not the application i needed it for. Sigh.
