Can I ask everybody to please like this comment so doctor Berg can see it and perhaps help? I just received blood work and my RBC and WBC are high, iron low and B12 almost dangerously High. So I'm not understanding what's going on in my body. They're also saying that my blood cells are large? I hope you can help me with this dr. Berg. I have elevated pulse rate. A little shortness of breath or air hunger. Super tired. Perimenopause and fibroids. Thanks
@@kbaz6658 I need to make a doctor's appointment and discuss things with him but I just, I know it's TMI but just started my period And I need to wait until my bleeding subsides before I can go anywhere.
My ferritin level is 1. My husband of 48 years died last Monday. He was doing all our shopping because I barely have strength to walk through the grocery store to pick up what I need. This anemia has been with me for years, since I took antibiotics for dental work. Please be careful with antibiotics.
Have you been to hematologist? If not get a referral so you can get infusions. I had them a few times due to heavy cycles I’m currently in ER now because I’m low again. I stopped my birth control and the periods came back heavier. Long term anemia can damage your organs Ik how you’re feeling. I pray you get the care you need.
Buteyko's system for asthma can fit well with this explanation. It's more focused in developing a good way of breathing than Wim Hof's, that is centered in meditation and cold more than just breathing.
How did your Body become Anemic? For some occurs due to being Vegetarian, for Otthers, occurs not due to being Vegetarian, but, duee to not consuming enough Protien /Iron Sources. 😊✌
I was on a high protein diet yet I was Low in iron.. i was dumbfounded. Then I found out that consumption of calcium was blocking the absorption of iron. So I couldn’t have my fruits yoghurt smoothie in morning and cup of milk tea in afternoon. I ditched the fruits smoothie. I kept my cup of tea to morning only and only 1 cup. then 3 hours later have my meal. I’m looking into celery juice in the morning but it’s so expensive in my country...
Dr. Berg, great information. Have you discussed the relationship between copper levels and iron levels? I was anemic for years until I increased my copper levels. Not one doctor ever mentioned the relationship in all that time. Increase copper, increased absorption of iron - no more anemia. Decades of being tired are gone. :)
@@MM-dz9fk You can go with either option. If you are willing to eat chicken liver or pate, it is a great source of copper and iron. I started with chicken liver, but I am not a fan of the taste. Liver pate was easier for me to eat, but more difficult to find in the store. So I also supplemented with a liquid mineral blend that contained copper. I like "NOW" brand colloidal mineral blend. 32 oz costs about $10-13 US. You can also buy copper tablets. Swanson Vitamins has a good, low priced copper tablet - 2 mg for around $4.00 for 300 tablets. I had no problem with the tablets (no discomfort) and used one bottle. I recommend the liquid mineral mix because I realized I was low on other minerals and wanted to increase levels of all the trace minerals. You can also take a liquid B complex as it helps with circulation, etc. I like Nature's Bounty brand. 2 oz runs about $7-8. I hope this helps! Blessings.
@@thisorthat7626 Thank you so much for the info. I'm not in USA but sure I could find alternatives. Does copper make you feel hungry after taking it? I noticed with iron supplements in the past I felt hungry 30 minutes after them and wondered if copper has the same effect?
@@MM-dz9fk You are welcome. I did not notice any changes in my appetite when taking copper. Iron definitely created noticeable changes like you mentioned, but copper is quite easy for me to take. Try it. Pay attention to your body and I hope this helps you. Blessings.
Dr Berg has shocked me 4 times in this video and I love to learn more from you and I loved eggs, salmon, vegetables and coleslaw and healthy fats as well and I can go longer time with out any food and for the first time ever I have given up the sugar and Dr Berg has helped me so much I don't crave as much as before and I am not hungry anymore and it felt like I was at medical college and thank you for everything you are doing and you have changed my life for ever and I don't miss the high carbs and high sugar foods anymore and I loved healthy keto foods instead because it gets rid of my hunger and cravings.
Professional Athletes go to a very high mountain (above 3,000 mt on the sea-level) to train. A typical example, professional cyclers for Tour de France go to Elbrus mountain (more than 5,000 mt)
You can simulate high attitude training even at sea level. An example of that is oxygen advantage program by Patrick Mckeown or breathing technique by Wim hof
Dr berg, would you do a video on which is better out of benfotiamine and sulbutiamine, I know you have videos on benfotiamine but I have seen a lot of people saying how good sulbutiamine is
Hypoxia/decreased oxygen will cause cells to sickle if you have sickle trait or disease. That is not good. Also, higher altitudes are not good for people with sickle cell gene due to decreased oxygen. You DO NOT want cells to sickle because the cells get stuck in the capillaries and cause pain or sickle crisis.
The mask significantly reduces oxygen intake we're holding your breath stops oxygen intake. Some people may pass out holding their breath doing strenuous exercise.
Apart from this can u meant expAiln the cause of numbness within legs and hand during nite awareness......causing its disruption might be with elaboration....
@Marla Bradshaw Spirit Led Worship Center perhaps we should just strike the English word "useful" from our vocabulary. As the Greek word for "good" in those passages is more accurately translated as useful. Your saying berg is not useful? If you want to get into religiosity or dogma, have fun. My enthusiasm and I are going to go make the world a better place for someone today. What are you going to do?
Aren't we all AMAZING machines. 😮 Got a picture in my head of Dr Berg huffing & puffing & blowing Big food & Big pharmas houses down. 🌬 Lol. Thank you muchly for sharing this very important information with us all, take care & Happy Sunday to you. ❤🙂🐶
Intermittent hypoxic training. Well ancient yogic pranayamas achieve exactly this, without any masks. Most modern version of those would be SOMA breath work, and personally, i highly recommend to try it out 🙄
If red blood cells need glucose, so the body needs to convert protein into glucose through a process glycogenesis, therefore our body wants and needs it, why should we not eat glucose directly from fruit, etc.?
I think the problem is that you are unintentionally restricting oxygen (stop breathing). That's not good because your aren't in control of the amount that's being restricted. Sleep apnea is a whole different beast!
Thank you Dr Berg, you're a saviour. Your videos are helping me and my family a great deal. I had a question regarding Sickle cell anemia. Will Intermittent hypoxia training help with that? Could you do a video on that, if possible? Thank you in advance.
Hi! Have you seen this Dr. Berg's video yet? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3QVPkrYO57g.html Hope you'll find it helpful! Dr. Berg's Support Team.
I have just had my bloods done and my platelets are high soo worried what to do can’t find a video that will help me I’m wondering if my gallstones can my them high 😢
Dr Berg, just found out my 1 year old has thalassemia. I came to your page right away to see your opinion! If you can help me in anyway with some information I would appreciate it.
Dr. Eric Berg DC Would you please do one for Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis as well? My 11 year old has been weaned off chemotherapy and will hopefully be taken off her Humira injections soon. She’s had them since she was 5 years old. I’m curious if she has Crohn’s disease as well.
I'm 78. My kidneys failed a couple of years ago and I'm having dialysis three times a week. I'm anemic (Hb 78g/l) and the ESA (Aranesp) I'm being prescribed isn't working. Fatigue was taking over my life. I read that exercise might help ... so three days ago I went for a brisk TEN MILE hike .... following a hilly route. Now all the fatigue is gone ... totally gone!. My next dialysis session will include a basic blood test.
@@m.a320 I'm still around. The exercise had a dramatic effect on my blood chemistry and rapidly raised my Hemoglobin level. Apparently exercise releases substances from the muscles into the bloodstream that stimulate the release of oxygen from hemoglobin so that it can be used by the body (oxygen is "tightly bound" to hemoglobin) and also they promote the creation of fresh hemoglobin. Doctors, of course, are not in the habit of telling severely anemic elderly patients to engage in prolonged vigorous exercise ... something in me compelled me to do it. I think we have "an instinct to stay fit and healthy" that sometimes knows more than the doctors what's best for us.
Dr. Berg, ALL your videos have been very informative and helpful for MANY issues with my almost 70 years old body now! The intense insight you provide about the bodies myriad processes has practically reversed aging for me over the last 10 years, ironically this period seems to exhibit some of the fastest increases in aging that start occurring statistically. Your work is exemplary, and GREATLY APPRECIATED AND RECOMMENDED! 0:27
I have normal iron and b12 yet my RBC is below the normal range , 3.82. I took b12 thinking it would help and my b12 levels became too high. I don’t bleed heavy so I have no clue why they are lower than normal. My doctor doesn’t seem too concerned.
i gathered some input fm online search how to increase the RBC & some notes i found, besides Iron (to boost hemoglobin) & B12 (to activate folate + plays important roles on RBC) --> also need Copper (absorbing Iron & assist RBC to access Iron), B9 Folate (need to make RBC & WBC in the bone marrow) & B6 (need for Iron to convert into Hemoglobin). besides, Vit C (helps absorbing Iron). 4 minerals/vitamins that make me confused that can helps on RBC was Vit E (aids in the formation of RBC), Zinc (may improve Hemoglobins level), Vit A (helps stems cells develop into RBC & to make sure RBC have access to Iron) & Molybdenum (helps to move Iron into RBC). Anyway, maybe the info i gathered was wrong or its an old inputs, besides, im not a medical person which i cant give any advise for it. u can check with your Dr about the Vitamins/Minerals 1st & see maybe she/he can find something interests on inputs i send
It will increase your insulin because it is very low fat protein and you are better with eggs, salmon and if you watched Dr Berg videos about it and he will explain why and how it does to your body and I hope it helps you understand it
Ugh I am anemic now after my period ,anyway I noticed when I hold my breath while doing squats I can do more of them and not feel tired afterwards:-)Try holding your breath while exercising ,it's awesomeeeeee
holding breath rises blood pressure which make you stronger (higher bp = more oxygen) also i wouldnt recommend it because with this you can get extreme high bp (wheigt lifting naturally rises bp specially under heavy weights) and the risk of passing out after the set gets higher because of rebound low bp. in my opinion its very dangerous
Thank you for your information and the breakdown is so easy and the recomendations, specific recomendations. What if platlets are now or you have Aplastic Anemia? I know there is a variety of Anemia out there.
Neoglucogenesis is great think! But my plan for today is: I will feed me red blood cells with one little piece LINDOR 70% extra dark chocolate...;) or few blackberries just ONE small piece!
Beet juice why powder any thing processed looses it the benefit . Fresh beets juice with cilantro and persly . Chlorophyll and cupper in cilantro . Iron doesn't work by itself . Electolyte and mineral . Too .
I wonder what the connection between red blood cells and EPO is. Just wondering because Lance Armstrong was obviously famous for using lots of EPO during his tainted Tour De France career. TJ Dillashaw banned because of using EPO as well.
My husband has a low red blood cell count, but he has plenty of iron and B12. He is also slightly low on white blood cells. He doesn't have symptoms of fatigue or infections etc. Would the intermittent hypoxia training be helpful?
How is your husband now? These symptoms turned out to be MDS for my father. A slow growing bone marrow cancer. Hemotologist did a bone marrow sample. God Bless
Thank you dr berg How to strengthen red blood cells: • Make sure you have enough iron (but not too much) • Make sure you have enough B12 • Intermittent hypoxia training
So, that's the reason behind the fact that smokers have more blood. Because they reduce the intake for awhile, while smoking. My thought is: can we produce more blood by simply holding our breath?
