I had this video pre-filmed and scheduled for today so if the timing seems a bit off after my previous video that is why. Thank you for all your love and support ❤ It was really comforting to know so many of you care and that I am not alone.
You're doing it you're doing a great job and you're never going to be alone there's a 100,000 of us out here with you! I'd say that's a pretty good size tribe 🥰
*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*
I eat 2 meals a day 8 hours apart. I am never hungry between and I no longer crave sweet things (99%) of the time. I no longer feel bloated, heavy and full after eating meals. IF and Keto/low carb diet and daily walking has changed my life thanks to people like you Kate :)
I was diagnosed with t2d and put on metformin 500mg twice a day Oct. 22, 2020. Jan 4th 2021 I decided to change my life style and went on a LCHF diet. Weighed 297lbs and waist size 52, I'm 6"4 male, 67 yrs young. Today my waist size is 46" and I weigh 261 lbs. I enjoy all the videos for motivation, my goal is to get to 211 lbs, my weight when I was discharged from the military in 1974.
Congratulations and good luck reaching your goals. Question: Have you shrunk at all? I used to be 6-4, but am now 6-2 (185) at age 57. Therefore, I hope to be even lighter than I was 40 years ago.
I'm down 10 lbs and a pants size just from 16:8 since the new year. I know that's not impressive to many, but for me, it's sustainable and its working!
I was 213 just got diabetes this year. Starting to do Keto and I reversed my diabetes. No pain in legs and hands. My blood pressure also stabilized. Now I weigh 178, my goal is 170.
I've done a low carb diet and I had difficulty losing weight at first, but after about a month I started losing a pound or two a day. My waist has really shrunk as well.

After a 4 day fast my blood pressure started coming down and is now normal, my eyesight has improved..no longer need reading glasses..skin tags have completely gone after a few weeks..I’m 4 days into my first 7 day fast..

@@audreynicoletti7329 For me my panties fit better over my stomach & I don't look 5 months pregnant. When laying in the bed on my side, my stomach also is flabby & I can hold the loose skin in my hand.
@@gotitmaid3540 Yes it did. My feet can still get a little hot at times, but never burning hot like they used to. They also don't get hot consistently every night when lying down. The tingling sensations went away completely - both from my toes and my fingers. On top of that, my face and ears used to get super red and hot after eating. That completely stopped too.
@@gotitmaid3540 I started with a keto diet and that eliminated the tingling and burning feet. I've moved to a carnivore diet since and the symptoms are still gone. I think either would work fine.
Thats a start..Little changes. It works. I have gone cold Turkey and do good. Then I have times I lose to cravings, I lose my will power. One treat, then back to it. Have a few treats and do okay. I follow my glucose meter and the numbers are in line. All you can do. Everyday is a new start. Hang in there. Take care of yourself.
I am doing the same!I also do alot of walking like 7 to 10 miles a week it just depends sometimes more. and a little IF .you just have to keep the body moving I find. All the best to your Irina you got this💪😊
Got small, dark skin patches on my skin. Thought it was sensitivity to the sun at first, until I looked up insulin resistance thanks to you. Almost 1 month on paleo/keto and they're fading. Thank god, because I'm tapering prednisolon in the midst of this.
I did a high carb sugar loaded durian rider diet for months and from then on could never get satiated, I thought I had leaky gut, parasites the lot, turns out I was insulin resistant from all the sugar, I literally was doing 0 fat and 1000 carbs a day 😂😭 3 days into keto/low carb and I can feel the satiety coming back, thank you so much kait, 28 year old male here
Almost 6 months Carnivore & I F. I can totally tell it has worked. Lost 34 lbs. should b more by now. But I’ve goofed off for last two months. I need 31 more lbs in these 3 months.
After 2 months of keto, IF, and Omad plus daily exercise. Dark patches on my skin are lightening, I haven't had a cycle in 3 years. There was some spotting this month. Haven't felt hangry in weeks. So I know I am headed in the right direction.
I'm a T2 diagnosed the day before Thanksgiving 2020 with an A1C of 7.7. I found a Diabetes Support Group on FB who introduced me to a different way of eating. In December I started doing low carb, high fat, intermittent fasting, lots of water, and walking. As of today I've lost 42 pounds and my recent A1C taken 2/26 is 5.3. My fasting insulin test revealed my number to be 20 uiU/mL, which is high so I still have work to do. There's no telling what it was before that, because like you stated, Drs don't normally test for it. I just found your channel today, so I'm going to watch how to reverse IR and go from there. Thank you for your content.
Hello KAIT. This was right on time for me. I was so concerned about the IR and my stubborn belly fat, skin tags and extreme sugar cravings that I began slowly at wrapping my head around all this information. I am over 60y.o. and so many of my relatives and friends are diabetic. I didn't want to end up this way and I have celebrated pretty good health before now. So I took a drastic step from just experimenting with Keto and IF. I was not happy about the possibility of waiting a long time to reverse what I perceived as beginning stages metabolic syndrome. I water fasted a 72 HR Fast. And about a month later, I decided to do an extensive 23 day water Fast. I have been waiting for a video topic about the signs of my insulin resistance reversal working. I am very happy to announce I am seeing results of all the but the menstruating cycle results. The fat burning is just phenomenal. My belly fat is just about gone and this is without exercise. My extreme sweet cravings are gone. I am still doing Keto for the most part but definitely IF. My weight-loss is big. I am about 4 months in, and almost 40lbs down. I am planning another Fast, but an egg-Fast next week. And then maybe another 3 day Fast. I really need to get on the other side of 200lbs. And I need to drop another 35 lbs. to enter my target weight. But all of the other benefits are my biggest gains. Thanks 👍😊 for the content.
Time to update again, its been 6 months since I started on this journey and things are improving on a regular basis. I currently weigh 219 lbs. and my waist is now 43". No longer taking metformin and down to 1/2 tablet every day other of bp med. BP is avg. 126/77 last 3 months. For exercise I ride my stationary bike 2 days a week 15 miles each day, walking 2 miles 2 days a week and 1.5 hrs per day water aroebics 2 days a week. It seems like my energy level is higher and I find myself staying busy just moving around. It appears that I will or should reach my goal of 211 by the end of this month if everything goes well. I will reevaluate at that time whether I adjust my goal down some more or go into maintenance. I been intermittent fasting 22-24 hr most of the time, next week I'm going to do my first 36 hr fast.
I'm 49, I've been doing intermittent fasting since 2016 and in May 2017 I committed to go full-on Keto, and that's when magic happened. Before all of that that, my blood glucose was worryingly high (in a fasted state), but it's okay now. I have lost a total of 16 KGs, and also my BMI has dropped to a normal range. I'm a creative entrepreneur, and my productivity and performance have improved a lot thanks to this lifestyle. I only eat once a day during a 2-hours window (22/2), I'm never hungry, but I have to tell you, I've recently started to include fruit in my diet, to make things more sustainable. You can't say no to fruit when you live on the Mediterranean Sea, and your lists of foods are very helpful. Thank You
I started craving for sugar again and my mid section is increasing after losing about 12kg of my weight and my skin tags is increasing rapidly. I stopped every medication I was taking and started craving sugar more now. Thank you so much Kait for sharing. Will stick back to the plan.
I just started a month ago of IF and Keto, and I can say the benefits are amazing even with the slow progress cos ist 2 weeks was a lot of struggle as I had already gotten used to eating so much, so am hoping and praying I never go back to such I'll health habits! So keep fighting!💪💖
The first thing I actually noticed was that my skin tags almost all suddenly disappeared after only just a few weeks on a keto/low carb diet. Used to have them around my neck & under my arms; now only a couple of what were the larger ones are left and they are much smaller & deflated. Have since experienced all the other changes mentioned (except number 5; I am a male).
I had been doing very low carb for years, lost 50 lbs over a two year period and kept it off, for 10 years! After a very unfortunate return to my old habits, overeating carbs and sedentary for weeks and months during the pandemic I gained 20 lbs back and my AC1 went up significantly - I guess the cells remember the bad old days - trying hard now to return to low carb diet and regular exercise and have lost 11 lbs., I hope that I can reverse my insulin resistance - thanks for your very informative videos, Health Coach Kait, they're a great help.
Also long term medications can cause insulin resistance like Hydrocortisone, which is what caused mine i went Keto a year ago and reversed pre diabeties
My cycle has been more regular. About 32 days which is way better than my one month 35 to 45 to 38 to 55 days. Never the same each month. Another big one is being fuller and recognizing when my body has had enough. Tummy has slimmed down as well. Weight loss has been slow and steady not as fast as I want but it’s coming along and I’m grateful and ready for a healthier lifestyle.
Thanks for the info! I know that I feel better on low carb high fat diet and my A1C improved dramatically but it is good to know how how to know my day-to-day efforts are working. This info will help me stay on track when I am tempted to slide back into old habits. Since watching your vidoes I have started intermittent fasting and it has been the missing link to reversing my insulin resistance. Fewer meals and no snacking has kept my blood sugar lower overall with no crazy swings. I am not constantly hungry or crave sweets (unless I backslide). Thank you again. Love your videos!
My period finally came again after 3 years of having absent/irregular periods! Also, I’ve lost a few inches all around my body after cutting out tons of carbs and now going keto, my metabolism is speeding up even more! I do have bowel movement issues though. That’s the only issue I haven’t really resolved yet.
I didn't know that the visceral fat was tied to insulin resistant and yes it is tough to get rid of but knowing why now makes me even more determined. Thank you.
I wondered about this at first too. Some changes I have noticed are going from needing to eat every two or three hours to going four to six hours without even thinking about food. The second sign for me is being able to lose weight. There are more but these are the most notable. 💕
I was not a Fan at first...!!! After watching few of your videos, I have come to the conclusion that your videos are indeed the very best in helping people with Insulin Resistance. What got my attention was your ability to explain some simple tips: 1) The very first item you eat in the morning may influence the rest of the day. 2) When eating a meal that may have some carbs, eat the protein first, and carbs last. 3) And this video is excellent in explaining how to detect Insulin Resistance, and how to measure improvement.
Hi!! Thank you for the information!!! I have been searching for clear information! I’m definitely DEFINITELY not craving sugar/carbs like I use to! This is a HUGE WIN for me. I feel like my cycle is resetting right now. It usually does this every few months. My sugars have been pretty decent before and after meals!! I’m feeling more energy, less depression and anxiety and my skin is glowing thanks to not eating massive amounts of sugar!
I got Covid last year and then my body became insulin resistant due to the side effects of medicine. The doctor diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes and started diabetes medication, but I started searching on internet ,Decided to change my lifestyle and lost 28 pounds in 3 months and reduced my waist 8 inch . Now my waist has come down from 44 inches to 36 inches. This Week my HbA1c test 4.8 has come. The doctor has declared me officially diabetes free,Kait Coach's video has played a big role in my recovery from this disease. Thank God
Just want to thank you! You’re advice has literally change my life since watching your videos on being insulin resistant. Lower my carbs and faster long has done wonders and my energy levels are so much more consistent
Hey Kait, good video. I think it's important to note that people that are insulin resistant (to varying degrees) will notice some changes sooner than later. Moving in the right direction is always really good but there's a time dependency here due to the way hormones like insulin are processed in the body. Specifically, lowering blood glucose and A1C are the types of things people will notice sooner. Those with less IR will notice it in days or weeks but perhaps months (A1C being a 3 month average). Those with more IR may not notice changes for a while. I liked that you offered the "poor man's insulin test" suggestion using HDLs - a good point. Further, a topic you need to cover is the insulin "set point" established by insulins effect on the hypothalamus. This "set point" was established over 10 or 20 years and it's not clear to me that it wont take years of lowered insulin to lower that set point. As I understand it, the set point, once established, works to tell your body what its insulin level should be. So years of constantly having high carb diets, sugars, fructose, etc. have been pushing that set point higher and higher. Can you speak to your thoughts on that? Do you already have another video on that topic? Thanks!
Not even kidding, i just finished the whole playlist, amazing work about Insulin issues, i just started carnivore diet last Monday, so far feeling great, thank you so much for what you do! Keep the good work!
Hi Kait, I have experienced changes since listening to your first video. It was very helpful, I am surprised that it has helped, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto hypothyroid and it's the worst when trying to lose weight. I thought nothing would work. What's the most helpful is doing intermittent dieting and drinking ACV. Just thought I would share. I would like to see more helpful tips for people dealing with Hashimoto. Thank you.
Thank you for these videos! I have to admit I have written off keto as a rebranded Atkins fad diet. Recently, I have had an extremely hard time losing weight in spite of me working out intensely, counting every calorie and macro nutrient possible. I have many of these signs if insulin resistance you listed in one of your previous videos and it lead me to look into this diet further. I am currently on day 7 of my keto diet, and I already feel much better and am seeing results (down 3lbs and 2 inches off my waist)! I can't even begin to say how grateful I am right now! ❤ Much love, and THANK YOU!
I have cut my blood sugar by 75 percent. In December while in hospital for a heart attack it was 21, now it is 5.3 I stopped eating bread pasta pizza roti and I have not eaten 1 drop of vegetable oil in 6 months. I do eat a half a 5mg glyburide pill every day. Real results
Your videos made me realize that I'm about 95% sure I have insulin resistance. And this one sparked a possible new insight for me when you talked about the male hormones. I have been struggling with connecting to my feminine energy, and I have to wonder if insulin resistance is part of this. If someone has masculine dominant hormones, couldn't we infer that would also mean masculine dominant enerfy?? 🤔 Thanks for your uplifting, thought provoking, and inspiring videos!!
Love watching your vids. Im about a month in on keto, 6 weeks if you count the 2 i stoped eating all sugars. Have lost 20 pounds, im sleeping better not much yet but better. I eat 2 meals in an 8 hour window. About 4:30 pm and midnight and fast the other 16. I work nights. Thanks for all you do.
Wow, Kait...excellant video. I came across your videos by accident. I truly need your help!!! I will watch this one again. I have high blood sugar. I need to lose 30 -40 pounds. After very low carbs and no sugar for 2 weeks I messed up and had 4 turtles today. 😲 I will begin again tomorrow. I have subscribed to your channel and hopefully I can do this. God bless you Kait. Be good to yourself! You are an amazing young woman. Everything is going to work out for you!!! ❤🌝⚘💥💕😄❣🌝🌱
Thanks for your videos. I must be doing something wrong. I do low carb. Try to keep below 20 net carbs a day. I have been doing intermittent fasting for several months. I try for 16 hours; sometimes it is only 14 and sometimes longer. I still crave sweets, and have puffy belly. I am just stuck! Can't seem to loose. Very low energy. I do have skin tags. They maybe a little better. Thanks again! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family
I've been eating mostly carnivore. After about 2 months I had my labs done. My HDL shot up 12 points and my Triglycerides went down 10 points. I'm looking forward to continuing carnivore and getting my labs done again. Also, ALL my inflammation markers, ESR, CRP, and Homocysteine, decreased! I'm confused though about my glucose and fasting insulin. My fasting glucose was the same but my fasting insulin shot up above normal range, higher than ever. So I'm going to watch those numbers and ask my doc to include my A1C next time.
I'm a prediabetic I have thyroid issues and my LdL cholesterol is going up and down I lost weight 202 was my current weight now I'm 170 my waist is getting smaller and smaller I completely lost all stomach I want my life back🙏🙏🙏🙏I'm on a low carb diet also👌
I am morbidly obese, 5’8”, 296, with low triglycerides, my hdl and ldl are borderline, my Vitamin D has been as low as 7, but taking 10,000 units daily it has risen to 75, woohoo. My goal weight is 140-150. I will reset my diabetes medicines soon (August). I’ve been keto for about 9 weeks. I’ve lost about 45lbs since February. I’ve been able to stop one of my water pills. My swelling is down. No diuresis or excessive thirst. So my insulin resistance is improving. I sleep better. My insomnia is better and my pain is less. I still have dizzy spells and light headedness but those are side effects of other medications.
I'm down 20lbs in aboot 4 weeks with IF and mostly clean Keto. No unnatural carbs and definitely no sugars. Using ACV and lemon 🍋juice...real lemon...I just finished a 40 hour fast yesterday and since it's St. Patrick's Day I'm having corned beef and cabbage....no potatoes...tough for an Irishman☘☘..but I'd like to do another fast...longer..oddly I wasn't starving after such a long fast.
No more hunger ✔️ Losing visceral fat ✔️(-10 cm) Other symptoms were not very obvious with me. It's been 5 months for me on keto and intermittent fasting. More strict the last 2 months..and doing OMAD.. only walking as exercise. I wanted to make sure i reversed the resistence before i start doing HIT excercises.. i will begin soon with 3x a week to start with.
All exercise is good for burning glucose, but to reverse insulin resistance, strength exercises are the way. Cardio is better for PREVENTING, and building muscle is better for REVERSING
Taken 7 months on Keto diet to help with my type 2 diabetes. Lost 70 lbs improvement on my painful joints migraines and lost inches on my waist. Was 59 inches now 49 inches. Still a long way to go. Cravings for carbs and sugar are almost gone too. Oh and my cholesterol marker went up, but Doctor would not tell me where my triglyceride level was at just my LDL to high for his liking and wants to throw a statin at it. His answer for everything! LOL
I had gastric sleeve 2 months ago just to solve that issue insulin and my high blow pressure. So far I have lost -40 pounds and notice my skin glowing . I eat 4 small meal mostly protein and vegetables.
Fat adapted! I do intermittent fasting.. KETO is hard… so I stopped that. But I have all these signs. But I already knew the IF was working. I was doing it wrong the first time I did it. But I learned how to do it correctly and now I’m teaching my friends and family. They are having results too.
I didn't have a regular doctor until about 6 years ago. I was so ill that I finally had to start going. My TSH was 45, my triglycerides were over 1000 (that's not a typo, 1 and 3 zeros), and of course my other cholesterol numbers were high as well. About a year ago my A1C tested 5.6, which is just 0.1 away from being prediabetic. My research into how to reverse it had me diagnosing myself with insulin resistance and going on keto. Then a month ago I changed from keto to carnivore. Since going keto my triglycerides are now normal, and my other cholesterol levels are moving in the right direction. I'm waiting on my first labs after going carnivore, so I can't report on that, but my stomach is really shrinking since I started carnivore. I'm guessing I have had insulin resistance for years and years. When I was in my 20s I would wake from a dead sleep CRAVING sugar. I would get out of bed, grab two or three Lil Debbie snacks, and often I would be so tired I would crawl back in bed to eat them. Looking back now I think I had hypoglycemia, probably because I had insulin resistance. I also wanted to eat almost constantly. I wouldn't eat a ton at once, but I just needed to graze all day long. I no longer need to do that. I usually eat twice a day, sometimes three times. Since switching to carnivore I'm more lenient and just eat when I'm hungry ... which is only two or three times a day. As to periods, I haven't had mine in maybe 4 or 5 years. I'm 49 now, so maybe it was the change? All I know is if it comes back I'm gonna be super sad. I don't want it! But anyway, yeah, I'm pretty sure my insulin resistance is starting to reverse. But even if I become insulin sensitive I'll never go back to eating the way I used to eat. I may not always be carnivore, I'll play it by year, but if not I'll for sure stay low carb.
Kait, has explained more about this topic than I have ever heard from any doctor or nurse. It is incredible how she has explained so much in such a short video. I have had metabolic syndrome for years, and finally someone has explained what is about.
Dear, Kait, thanks for those helpful videos, I had blood sugar boosted to 512. I was almost dieing. because I have got Hypothyroidism too. but because my blood pressure type is low one. I survived 10 days ago. I am on severe diet now and I am taking some important vitamins for 2 months according to my private doctor recommendations. I was looking for some insulin resistance tips. I have got insulin resistance recently. I found your videos. I think my insulin is reversing, I noticed some signs like, I don't feel very hungry like before even if I drink only water. I feel better. also, belly fat has been reduced. My energy has been increased even though I had 2 shifts of hard work. Thanks a lot for your efforts, I appreciate it. I got your list of Zero carb food. I shared your Channel with family and friends. You are amazing. Doctor usually doesn't have time to mention to all those things.
What about women that have had hysterectomy? Menopause? How to combat insulin resistant? You are right, drs do not talk about it test for insulin resistant!? I think this should be just as important as any other testing!
Just had my blood test results - HDL went up from 89 to 104, triglyceride went down from 289 to 75 after being on keto for about 2 months. Unfortunately, LDL also went up substantially, raising total cholesterol. Asking primary doctor for an advanced LIPID panel test to determine the kind of LDL - have the suspicion that it is the big, bloated type A, which is benign. Thank you Kait for your IR reversal signs confirmation.
Hi Kait, thank you very much for this extremely helpful video. The blood test info I checked from 3 yrs ago to a few weeks ago and it shows I'm heading in the right direction!!!:) to have some concrete guidance and real guidelines like this is huge! I have really enjoyed your videos and calm, optimistic advice. I just recommended your channel to my sister. :)
Kait, Another great video! The more I listen to u I think I’m insulin resistant!!! My triglycerides are always high 180-200, I have the visceral abdominal fat, and I crave sweets. But I’ve never been told by my endocrinologist that I have this ... I’ve been Type 2 diabetic ... after my stroke/ brain aneurysm, I had to take insulin .. I wrote you a long note 📝 under your older video but I don’t know if you go back to read them. I was asking for advice .. I’m trying to start the carnivore diet but it’s been a little difficult... I’m down to two meals a day ... I’ve lost 6 pounds ... I find your videos more detailed which I love .. I am a retired, disabled RN after a brain aneurysm at the age of 46 but it was due to a medication and a spike in my blood pressure that gave me the brain aneurysm/stroke. Could u give me some information or advice on really sticking to that two meals a day concept? I would really appreciate it so much.. you are so persuasive... I’m going to view more of your videos ❤️🙏🏻🌺🌟⭐️
Hi Kait. i just joined your channel but been watching you for a while. i was insulin resistant and started intermittent fasting and strict Keto . have lost 100 lb (45kg) so far.
Yeah I started to fast and keto like 5 months ago I lost over 30 lb. My blood pressure used to be 130 / 90 as of today it was 117 / 82. My blood sugar used to be over 100 even after eating as of today whenever I fast my blood sugar is between 70 or 80 and after I eat its 90. So yeah I'm glad somebody made a video that can explain how you know if insulin resistance is starting to reverse. The last few days I have done a 90-hour fast the crazy thing is I wasn't even hungry I didn't even think about food I just hope that's a sign that I am starting to jump into insulin sensitivity.
Thank you kait!!! Your videos provide affirmation that most health problems can be solved through diet. I think you need to start training doctors!! My former doctor was surprised to see my progress. If I ever see you in person, I will hug you!!
After a long research, found your Channel. Saw few videos and subscribed. Great piece of information and you are one them who does not scare people when they have off the range values..Instead you show it positively how things can be corrected. 👍
Thanks for the info. I've been watching for just a couple weeks and am making these changes. It's a struggle but I keep at it. Your attitude and information make a big difference. Thank you.
HDL goes up, triglycerides go down. BINGO!!! Five months after starting keto and losing 40 pounds I had my yearly physical. HDL rose from a barely normal level of 41 while triglycerides dropped from 76 to 56. That means my triglyceride/HDL ratio, the best predictor of cardiovascular problems, is .74 when anything under 2 is good. I like it, definitive proof that I have broken through my insulin resistance. My fasting glucose number was 69, I've lost my belly fat, and my sugar craving are gone--I've not cheated eating sugary sweet treats in my 8 months now on keto.
@@mjgrant1515 My fasting insulin level was 2.1 and wasn't originally on the menu but I asked for it and was low as was my glucose level at 69 because I wanted to figure my HOMA score.
@@stevec3872 thank you for the response. i’m in canada so i have to convert all my results into US measures. i wish they were universal because it’s a real pain as all the youtube’s are based on US measurements. i do mediterranean diet with 18/6 intermittent fasting, plant sterols & berberine. my trig/HDL ratio went down from 1.47 to .72. my HOMA i need to work on as it was 1.8.
I told my husband I had a bad craving to eat something last night. It lasted 5 minutes and went away. My husband said you are getting stronger. I lost 20 pounds leaving off carbs and sugar. My doctor told me I lost weight off my kidneys and liver too. When I left off the sugar and carbs I lost fat, not muscle. Protein in the meat helps to not loose the muscle. Muscle weighs more but dense. Looks like I have lost a lot more than 20 pounds. Maybe I'm adding more muscle and I am loosing in size and it is not showing on the scales. I am not a diabetic. I was very close one time. I started drinking a lot of water. It helped. That did not last. I started my so called keto. Not fatty meats, eggs and bacon, fruit, salads. Now I am adding dressing on my salads and a small amount of frozen fruit with frozen cool whip on top. I only drink water now. I wait till I get very thirsty. almost crave it. my throat feels cold and I am thirsty. No caffeine and no sugar substitutes. No sodas. No diet sodas. Diets never lasted for me when I starved. I also gained it back. This is working. I started an aerobic exercise class Tuesday. I'm getting healthy. Not in a day. Taking my time and keeping it off.
Big clue for me was that my pants started falling down and I had to buy a smaller size. Was lifetime Weight Watcher until I had third baby at age 44 and couldnt lose afterwards. Always had sugar cravings, even when BMI was 24. Gained weight on vegan diet. Became diabetic. Now on keto for 7 mos, rarely hungry, and blood sugars normal at age 60
