One of my favourite parts of Sigrid and Aurora is how different they can make their songs sound through each performance. Don't kill my vibe is the best example from Sigrid of how the studio version and the accoustic version are nearly totally different songs.

Sigrid is very energetic on stage and she loves performing live. I love her up beat songs, but her slow songs just get to your emotions!

😊👍Nice reaction! She's said that she writes most of her songs on piano, so that it works as an acoustic as well, and not just as an produced studio track.

Thanks for your reaction and thoughts! I really enjoy these double reactions, and luckily most of Sigrid’s songs have acoustic versions. Often multiple ones. :) There’s some definite growth between her first and new-ish second album (with a track called Grow), and to quote a review: “The new album sees Sigrid embrace a more organic sound featuring plenty of live drums, soaring strings and vocal harmonies; she says everyone from The Beatles to The Killers influenced guitar-centric tracks.” I recommend: her Watermelon Sugar and Everybody Knows covers, Last to Know, Mistake Like You, Dancer, It Gets Dark (music video and acoustic version available - you’d have to blur them, probably), High Note, etc. :) And while I’m rambling, would love to see you return to Susanne Sundfør, arguably up there with the others… Aurora is a fan, and included one of her songs on a ‘favorites’ playlist. Check out No One Believes in Love Anymore, The Brothel, The Silicone Veil, Mantra, Silencer, Reincarnation, to name a few. And… I’m done. :)

Hey Bob, I like the second version better. Normally, I pick the more upbeat versions too, as you mentioned. But, I was never a big disco fan. She did a collaboration with British rock band Bring Me the Horizon, called Bad Life, on her newer album. I think you'll like it.

Hi, and thank you for another doble reaction including the acoustic version of the same song. It gives me another perspective of an artist. I love both dependent on my mood. I repeat myself, I know (earlier recommandations), but I can’t help it…I hope you consider Burning Bridges, the upclose acoustic version. You have already done the video version. Hi Bob, Mirror is my second favorite Sigrid song, so I was well pleased with the double serve. Very much enjoyed the comparison format. I was not surprised by your choice. I had the same thoughts. I usually like the slower, more acoustic versions, but in this case I liked the first version better.

@@tomwhite4736 Yeah, Dynamite is my favorite. It's a great, great song. Have just listened to Blue for the first time. I like it. There are still a few songs I haven't listened to yet. I only discovered Sigrid about 4 or 5 months ago. Others I really like are Two Fish, Sucker Punch, Fake Friends and Home to You.

Really good artists. Just to expand your list of Norwegian artists to listen to even more (I think you may have some on your list already); Julie Bergan, Maria Mena, Madrugada, Marion Ravn, Lene Marlin, Margaret Berger, Beady Belle, Lise Davidsen (classical soprano), Alan Walker, Matoma, Kygo (the last three EDM - Alan Walker even done one with Angelina Jordan)… and many more (but they sing mostly in Norwegian, so maybe not too accessible to foreigners)

Im glad you found time to be here after those hard weeks of work. TikTok is something i will never understand , to be honest 😀- but it led to a funny situation and that fact is nice. Maybe you could react to another songs from sigrid (newer ones) 1. Bad Life and 2. A driver Saved My Night - i know i have told you a lot of recommandations before , but it is much fun for me to just write it down as well.

GReat reaction Bob! Yes, she has said that every song she release shall also be so that it can be done slow and acoustic. Great reactions, Bob! I still prefer the slower one though. But both are very good. I heard you talked about Lene Marlin. She was off to a crazy rocket-like start and was worshiped in Asia. Eventually, the pressure got to her and she didn't appear in the music world in a long, long time. Such a shame, because she is something really special 🙂 An example of getting way too much attention and "hype" way too early. If my memorey serves me right, I think she was 16 when it all started. Love from Norway 😉😊
