It's interesting on the Flannel Shirt thing. It's a bit of a confusing name because flannel is a type of fabric that is not necessarily checked in those sorts of patterns, but it's come to be used as the the name for any shirt (usually long sleeved with a collar and one or two chest pockets) with a plaid or tartan print/weave, regardless of whether or not the fabric itself is in fact flannel. (Typically flannel is made from wool, where flannelette is made to feel like flannel and is often made from cotton or synthetic fibres).

Fantastic run! Not surprised Cedar Grove Sanitarium, on a damn WR no less, managed to take over 11 minutes to itself. The place is massive and during your run I actually lost count of how many key items it involves. Been a while since I last played... Out of curiosity, what game are you saying that is "boring" to speedrun around 29 minutes in? I'm not very good at understanding British accents unfortunately. :(

I don't really get why some people are obsessed specifically with the term "glitchless," especially since in practice there's a lot of games with a "glitchless" category with rules that allow basically everything except oob and similar skips. If they just say "No OOB" then I totally get that for some games, Doom 2016 for example. Any% you spend a decent portion of the game running on invisible walls, doing a memorized tightrope walk with basically nothing visually interesting or useful onscreen. It sucks to play and sucks to watch imo. But I'd never want it "glitchless" because the big glitchy flings you can get in that game own.

I’d speed run this game if PPSSPP could run consistently with the flashlight on 😂😂 gotta play the whole game in the dark to even hit some sort of rhythm

How did you get this game to work on pstv? Did you have to use a whitelister?

I get that times are from the in-game timer but I don't get _why_ and why in that case you do the external timer anyway

Saber AND the little sister of the protagonist (forgive me, its been some months and melty names slip my mind a lot.) Are both rekka characters. Also, technically...no. melty and fate are NOT other universes. They're just different "things" inside the same universe. Also, Neko-arc is quite good, if you're not just dismissing her as a meme. She actually has some really fun combos and can play a mean evasive game. Overall, just be less grumpy, silly englishman. (endearing)

Scrub is more like playing a top tier but still lose because you are a scrub.
