The Silhouette Curio 2 Print and Cut stickers. This is showing a demo of stickers and how well the Curio 2 does on the accuracy from a question a user showed. I share some up close photos of the edges.
Keep in mind that you will see white edges on paper when your paper is white core.

I do a fair amount of stickers around holiday times for teachers I know. I find that is an acceptable amount of white too. I was watching someone else’s video on another platform where she blamed tracing and/or calibration. The only machine I have had to calibrate was a Cricut more times than I desired. Thank you for clarifying. I like your stickers.

Cricut is a fickle machine and yes it does require lots of calibration. Tracing can cause white edges as well. Any software can only trace what it sees and if it sees pixels, which is common on a circle, that's what it traces. Thank you! Fun stickers to make! I'll have to cut more so I can actually use them. lol

the solution is to put a 16th in bleed around your graphic. i never cut with out a bleed.

What’s the advantage of buying this bigger cutter? I’m currently working with a Cameo 3 (beginner). Hope my question isn’t too simple

No question is too simple.... This machine comes with the new Electrostatic bed, which is an additional accessory for the Cameo 5 or Portrait 4. It also has the ability to use the most tools. The power tools are coming later this fall and in addition to all the current tools it can use, it will be able to use the heat pen, power engraving tool, Leather (not real leather) punch. It also has a clearance of 20 mm which means you can do thicker projects directly in the machine. That is clearance, not cut depth. Cut depth is 3 mm at the max due to the size of the blades available.

Mine cuts perfect on the left side, but doesn’t on the right side of the same sticker sheet Can that be fixed? I tried it multiple times and always the same result, the machine is new so the blades aren’t worn out Please help🙏🏽

That issue has been reported to Silhouette and they are investigating it.

@@SilhouetteSecrets did you get an answer dear? it came to the point where it doesn't ever cut on the right side, while it is good on the left side of the same sheet. The machine is new I don't know whether to return it or just buy a new blade?

@@deemahh726 things like this take time.... it's an issue I reported months ago and they've been working on a fix. You'll have to decide if you want to return your machine or not. Never hurts to try a new blade as it's something that you can always use in the future. Reporting the issue is all that I can do.

Hi! Have you experienced cutting issues where the middle designs cut deeper than the ones on the sides?

No. That is not something that I've seen reported or experienced. Is the paper curled at all? Are you using the ES bed or the cutting mat?

if you do a tiny inset on the sticker and put the cut line there, there will be no white line.

Yes. That was not the question that the user had though. This was a demo straight from a user question on the actual cut edge and how accurate it was.

I am having issues with my cameo I am having issues with setting up the sheet for calibration.

It is rarely needed to calibrate.... try this as a test, set it up exactly like this with all the defaults and print on cardstock. Use a Silhouette cutting mat and these instructions - silhouette-secrets.com/2020/01/28/lets-explore-v4-print-cut-basics/ How does it cut?

How long does it take for the mat to charge? Is there a lot of time between jobs?

10-30 seconds is what I'm experiencing, but it will depend on the user and how they are setting it up. Mine doesn't take long at all. Cut time between jobs will depend entirely on the user and how they work. I cut several sheets back to back last night. It's faster than removing tiny pieces from a cutting mat.
