This is what the black community need again. Out with the trap rappers and toxic music against women and our teenage sons and in with the music that show love to black women and create black families. I miss black bands with real music and soulful artist that could sang and didn’t need auto tune!
I was 26 yr old when this song came out before it came out black music had loads of romantic love songs dedicated to the most beautiful of God's creation the Black Woman. This makes me think about having your beautiful Nubian Queen walk into your bedroom and you know that she only wants you and you only want her Silk playing softly in the back ground as you gaze at her hips and look into her brown eyes and smile! Fo sho...THERE'S A MEETING IN MY BEDROOM!!!
@kricket15000 All Black Men are not that way because im a Black Man and i don't think like that. My wife is Black and i love her with all my heart we are both dark skin people and regardless of that my mom is a dark skin Black Woman and i love how strong she is...and i appreciate the struggle she overcame and i see the beauty in our Black Women. I ignore all who speak negative about that love. Hold your head up...all Black Men are not that way i hope you understand we have to love who we are before we can love and appreciate the beauty in others God bless.
This is a REAL live R&B performance. Those ugly faces mean they're putting their all into it. That's SOUL. They ain't tryna be pretty cuz they already have captivated the fans. Now everybody so focused on tryna look hard and stuff on stage.
2 g is big G and lil g that's the last one who was singing that was lil g can't nobody hit them notes and stand out like that. even when he does his runs u know among the group whose voice that is right away
Listen. For Lil G to hit those top notes on "bedroom" live respect must be given. John John was hoarse and still killed, but for Lil G to hit that top and go right back into his adlibs two octaves lower at 3:42...much respect.
2:27-2:34 you better SANG, Jon Jon. I'm not even a huge fan of the male falsetto, but that shit is INCREDIBLY difficult to do like he just did live in one breath. Just amazing.
It's crazy how well they harmonize. I thought it was the CD. And I thought the first and second verse were two different people. these cats can really sing
Yeah I was listening like "aww they lip syncing: mixing with some mics being on/off."I ALWAYS though first and 2nd verse was by two different people too! This was a surprise to see that John John sang the majority.
@@MrBlactye No, not them all. Lil G led Lose Control- John John and Big G had a short solo part, Freak Me was lead by Jimmy and Timzo with Lil G's help making that song what it is. They have so many songs on their cd's where John John and Lil G take turns on the verses. Have you heard Turn-U-Out....ALL LIL G leading....I listen to ALL their music so this is SO not correct!!!!
Underrated? Almost everyone who knows 90s music mentions them at least top 4 rnb groups of the 90s(If you don't count kids like Hi5 or Soul for Real etc)
I was born in 91 I heard this song hundreds of times but never seen a performance I’m just now realizing the first two verses were sung by the same person 😳 sheesh that is talent at it’s best 🥺
@@mmdmmj1 oh yea I got that. He vocal switch was crazy !!! But I was referring to the commenter I replied too. I didn’t know the songs first two verses were the same singer either
opened for him twice..AWESOME person EXTREMELY humble and THIS dude plays multiple instruments like Prince...he did a one hour one man show. BLEW US AWAY...didn't care he had to share a dressing room with us..he did his thang and man..this cat colder than y'all think..plays piano, did a tribute to Prince on guitar that would have made Prince jealous..killed the drums and vocals? people slept on this dude
@@elevatedgoddess3917 it's got nothing to do with who owns it. The reason it sucks now is because music in general has degenerated big-time since the 90s. I mean just the fact that we have rappers like Cardi, Lil Pump, and 69 says everything about how bad music is nowadays.
Just house of payne and a bunch of a low budget looking shows from Tyler Perry on now. No martin fresh prince wayans brother Bernie mac hugleys moesha one on one pjs none of that.
Jon Jon put his entire soul into this performance; it legit sound exactly like the studio version. He has a beautiful, unique and soulful voice. I knew Lil G was fixing to kill that ish, the moment he threw that mic in the air. They killed this performance.
Daaaaaaaayum. These men did not play when it came to letting the ladies know what time it was. Lil' G and John John sAng their faces off every chance they could too. Love and miss the days of searing hot performances and REAL VOCALS.
It takes a village and all four are killing their parts. In my opinion, the guys taking a backseat in the song play a very important part and gives the two main singers liberty to do runs and still sound tight as one unit. In conclusion, no big 'I' and little 'you' in a true group. -Alix Investments....'Making Dreams Reality'
After all this time I always assumed that the last “Bedroom” note in the chorus was digital...Omg I just watched bruh hit that perfectly the entire song....damn I miss these days.
