Custom video shoot with R&B superstar group Silk, featuring a live performance of their hit song "Lose Control" for Unsung Live, the digital exclusive series we created as a companion to Unsung, to help refresh the linear series on TV One. Due to its popularity and broadcast quality, I decided to put the Unsung Live web series on TV One's linear channel to help eventize the premiere of Unsung's new season

what I loved about the 90s was there were so many unique but still powerful R&B voices and this group was one of them

Indeed. The 90's was a great decade for R&B. Shai, H-Town, Silk, Boyz 2 men, Jodeci, Blackstreet, Az yet, All 4 one, 4 Xample etc. And that doesn't even count the female groups like En Vogue, SWV, Xscape, Zhane, Changing faces, etc. So much great music came out in the 90's and this list doesn't even include the solo artists. I sometimes wish I could go back to that time.
