This is awesome! So... as soon as the effect of fall control runs out, you just die!? Can you get past the metal door without the lingering dragoncrest ring? I tried a few times and I couldn't do it unless I put it on. Also I tried to use this to get into Gwyndolin's chamber but I triggered the cutscene and then got transported to a black screen lol.
Lingering Dragoncrest Ring is not necessary, FC has 45s duration with and without it. It's just really tight as you can see in the video. The SpEffects list shows that FC was only going to last for 5 more seconds after I got past the shortcut door.
Disregard what I said, this game is stupid. The lingering effect does affect it but the way the game handles it is keeping the same duration but slowing down the timer. So the ring is required.
