what version of QuickJack are you using? Did the truck just sit raised on 2x4s under the pinch welds but NOT at the jack points (looked a little short). Seems the pinch welds are not as thick in the middle. Any damage from what you could see? Was going to do my 1st oil change only to discover, my 7000 SLX is nowhere near long enough and even the extensions they sell come up short. Curious. Thx!
The only thing that matters for the Maverick NeoMax kit is whether it is Front Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive. These work for both the hybrid and ecoboost options.
Yes the rear springs have to be removed. Due to some modifications on the customers vehicle, we weren't able to do it in a way that's say... "OSHA approved". On typical Mavericks, they are removed in the same way as other similar vehicles.
These are height adjustable coilovers, not a lowering kit, so they offer plenty of adjustment to fit a wide variety of setups. Please contact us at Sales@silvers-na.com with any other questions!
There's a kit for AWD, and a different kit for FWD. silvers-na.com/collections/neomax-coilovers/products/silvers-neomax-coilovers-ford-maverick-awd-fwd-p758-2022
The customer had a custom exhaust made for the truck at a muffler shop. On a related note, most of the exhaust was welded together instead of bolted together; this caused a little more difficulty with the coilover installation since we couldn't un-bolt and move the exhaust near the rear of the truck. Just something to keep in mind if you're going to get an exhaust and coilovers!
Thanks for the info. I would love to do a dual center exhaust out of the center of the bumper where the trailer hitch goes. I don’t have a trailer hitch on mine, but where the spare tire is located would make it difficult.
Was that yellow Maverick painted? cause it was painted over the emblems, which makes the job look cheap. Don't get me wrong, the truck looks awesome on coilovers and wheels, but the paint job looks cheap...
Wtf are those hoops around the rotors? I'm selling my maverick btw, located in Orlando, FL. 6700 miles, area 51, 2022 XL special ordered with leather, moon roof, bed liner, tow package, 4wd, spare tire, full tint. Mint condition.
Looks cool..but NO THANKS! I have had lowered (coilovers like this) vehicles in the past..and they are terrible to drive! Maybe something with airbags would be different, but I have no experience with that.
Sorry to hear you've had bad experiences in the past, but we're here to help you get the perfect setup. Give us a buzz the next time you're in the market for suspension!
