I have to say those 4.3 vortecs are probably my fav engine..very durable..my mom had a 99 blazer..got rid of it at 400k cause she got tired of replacin the trans

Thanks man...the muffler is 3 inch in /out with 3 inch pipe to the back with 3 inch dual tips I'm thinking of taking of cats but don't want to sound like a bee like all 4.3 do lol

Sounds more like a v8 straight up under the hood at this point in time, not a v6.... even 4.3L engines, regardless of enhanced exhaust, may sound v8ish at idle, but the distinctive sound of a v6 will be heard when revved up.
@@HoustonRocket281 I think you misunderstood.... you said you had the 4.3l v6 under the hood at the time of this video with plans to put a v8 at a later time, it sounds like a v8 at idle and a v8 after you revved it like you had already swapped it out for the v8 engine. I have the same 4.3l engine in my 2005 GMC Sierra SCSB with also a flowmaster 40series muffler, mines rumbles like a v8 at idle, but the definate sound of the v6 after revving it, so to me, again, its like you already had the v8 swapped in at the time of this video, and not the v6 engine.

+Justin Hilse it was dropped 4/7 springs and spindles upfront and back flipkit and drop shackles with cnotch and bed cnotch with shocks extenders and belltech street performance shocks. very smooth ride

Marco Munoz I mean it’s a v6 is not going to sound like a v8 been there done that. Closest sound would be good muffler brand borla or magnaflow and no cats
Is this just a CAT back exhaust system? Single pipe inlet, single pipe outlet? I'm looking to put an exhaust on my truck and I like the sound of this truck. For a V6 is sounds good.
Thanks bro, and no catback i just did the muffler but came with 2 outlets and didnt need them so went to one inlet Y pipe as you can see on the video all the way to 4 inch duals tips

HoustonRocket281 I'm just trying to find an exhaust that will sound good for my truck, and your truck really stands out to me. I love the way that sounds. Most 4.3 v6s have that old style rumble to them like the old small block Chevys, but yours has a more modern throaty noise to it.
Hey bro did your setup have a Y-Pipe running up against the dual outlets of the flowmaster only leaving you with one single pipe into the dual tips at the end..?

+HoustonRocket281 thanks for the info bro and for replying quick haha for some reason my flowmaster sounds weak when i wanna step on the gas i want my v6 sounding like yours lol should i cht of the exhaust pipe and nust leaving the 40series muffler with a little bit of the exhaust pipe so it can sound louder or nust go straight pipes and removing the 40series flowmaster.. i well preciate your help bro
@Marco's I just installed the flowmaster 40series on my 15 silverado trying to sound like this one. Mine doesnt sound as aggresive I think. I just posted a video of it if you want to check it out

my brother has almost the exact same truck but the rims are 22's and it's a 5.3 damn they almost look like the same truck he also has that vortec emblem on the side same drop color damn

corey v I never liked the duals that's for off road trucks. The reason I did it is bc the muffler was dumped before and didn't wanted to spend money new muffler so I added the y pipe
