I've never used a DD before so my experience is ZERO! Hopefully this helps you decide to take the plunge or at least made you laugh :D
I previously used a Fanatec CSL Elite, but now using the Fanatec CSL DD with Boost Kit (8nm) and it's changed my life.

I pre-ordered and received it on first week of December took three months but worth the wait. it moved from Logitech so night and day after I finish upgrading my pc I'll upgrade to 8nm system

went from using a logitech g920 for about 5 years mounted to my desk to a DD1 in a simlab cockpit and V3 pedals, safe to say I was blown away

I went from a Logitech Driving Force GT to a CSL DD and it was pretty incredible. The main thing was the consistency. Honestly when i went to V3 load cell pedals it felt more of an upgrade. But the 8nm DD experience is pretty brillitant.

That’s a massive upgrade in equipment but I agree, wheel is excellent for consistency and the pedals make more of a time per lap gain 💪

Top tip: turn down the FFB at Oulton Park (if you’re on ACC) if you value your arms 😂

I think I was the first one who was not blown away after 6 years on a G29 to simucube 2. I mean I can its a lot better and faster and harder but i mean the FFB is just what the game is outputing and you can feel the same stuff on a G29 but just not as good. I was just as fast on my G29 as on my simucube 2. So yeah no regrets and i LOVE my simucube 2 but I don't think its an entire different thing.

It’s definitely not a speed giver, but for most the immersion and consistency it brings is the big jump from low end wheels 👌

I was same going from G27>CSL DD, but only used the 5nm so far, wasnt huge difference, hoping the boost kit is more of a jump. i have caught a few slides etc, so maybe is better, but not "night n day" like some ppl say it is. still prefer it though

I bought one when GT7 came out I had a T500 & T300 before that. It's a wonderful wheel I'm over 55 and I gained a lot of time I'm a way more confident racer because of it. Sell the kids. To funny 😁 it's worth it

Trying to be excited for my first wheel but every video and review i see of this csl dd complains about not having the 8 nm booster I feel like i just bought a more expensive t300 or g29 until i buy the booster it's kind of disappointing since it's another 150. And i just spent 6 to find out the wheel pretty much sucks without said booster 😭 ah oh well...

It won’t suck, it’ll still be way better than any belt driven wheel - plus you can buy a non fanatec branded booster on eBay for less 👌

had mine for exactly a year now and loved it for every minute of it.. no issues or problems. Granted i never tried a simucube or vrs higher nm base to compare..

Crap comment. I owned a DD Pro for a year before getting Logitechs G Pro. Sure, the Fanatec has a couple of issues, and I think the G Pro is a lot better, but the Fanatec is great value. Pity about their delivery and after-sales, though 😢
