This video will teach you how to plan a realistic IFR flight using SimBrief, one of the best free tools available for flight simulation.
We'll cover the basics of flight planning in SimBrief, how to export your finished flight plan and how to import it into Microsoft Flight Simulator. We'll also touch briefly on Navigraph - what it is, what it does and how to use it to view your SimBrief plans on the fly.
If you have any questions or comments, please ask away in the comments and I'll do my best to help!

Thanks for that - so well explained. I have Navigraph now and currently testing things on their Beta ... no airways yet but think it won't be too long until it's fully compatible! Thank you again!

Thanks for this. How do you display the maps while flying, is it in the sim or a separate window? I have Navigraph but will definitely give Simbrief a go.

Thanks for the video. How do i choose an aircraft that is not listed in the aircraft type? For example i want to fly the Beechcraft Bonanza 36 in MFS 2020.

Great video thanks. What I'm wondering is that can't we use MSFS by only implementing the routes that we generate in SimBrief? Also there is already ATC which will help us navigate throughout our route. By the way at the moment I'm ignoring the updated informations in Navigraph which are wonderful.

Do you not set your approach eg ILS runway etc ?

Thanks for a very good tutorial. One question: I made a flightplan EHAM/EGNT (Amsterdam/Newcastle). I did not get an approach. Ap directed me direct to the runway and so I could not land. What did I do wrong?

Great video! Just a quick question. Is this possible on the Xbox version? If I can still download it from the browser over there.

Thank you for this video. Unfortunately, the waypoints from the Simbrief flightplan are often not identical to those in the downloaded flight plan in MSFS.

Is the flight number just random numbers you can put in whatever you want? same with Airline how do you choose what to put in these 2 fields and what is there significance in game

Thanks for the information! But when I insert the flightplan into MSFS, and change the runway for a gate, it resets the whole route for a standard route descided by the sim :(
