Season 3 was just bad. It ruined Chloe's character arc (if she had one). A big if since the creator of the show himself said that she was still self-centered even as Queen Bee. And I for one am in 2 minds about this.

@@Bezaliel13 I don't think she's irredeemable, but in order to get redemption you have to show that you want it by being good. And Chloe was only nice to impress Adrien, which the show made abundantly clear. She has to do good because she wants to, not because of other people.

Funny indeed! But what if he ended up transformed into a different butterfly themed person? If the same miraculous holder can change their transformed appearance based on their mental state like Rena Rouge to Rena Furtive in season 4 and Chat Noir to Cat Walker in season 3 then it would raise questions for further plot development if Gabriel Agreste was revealed to be a miraculous holder on TV where everyone can see how a holder transforms. I don't know if he would have his miraculous with him once he knew Simon Says was planning to kidnap him. Maybe he might in case he needed to transform to control Simon Says. I simply wonder if there is a different but similar transformation phrase for Nuroo since "Dark" Wings rise, makes it obvious that butterfly miraculous holders are bad. (Although I've heard that in some dubs like the original French the phrase is just "transform me") However, if the transformation phrase was something like "Nuroo, wings rise" that would be morally neutral and show that "Hawk Moth" consciously corrupts his transformation like he corrupts the butterflies into akumas. It could solidify the idea in the miraculous lore that any miraculous can be used to become a hero or villain. It may or may not add to the character development and plot drama to see the possibility that Gabriel could be a heroic miraculous holder if he chose to use it that way. It also speeds up the (nearly nonexistent other than maybe Alya) investigation into who HawkMoth is so this wouldn't be able to be a season 1 episode. Then the plot drama of the subsequent season could revolve around saving Gabriel from his negative emotions that are destroying himself and his remaining loved ones and how Adrien handles the fact that his father is choosing to do terrible things but Adrien has already lost his mom and doesn't want to give up on his dad too easily, but he can't give his dad what Gabriel wants... or can he? What if Adrien made the wish, would the cost really be terrible? But no, he knows it's not an option because Adrien is working through his grief and has formed new friendships in the process and changed in a way he's not sure would happen if he hadn't been forced to find his own way to cope with Emilie's disappearance since his dad became distant. Each of these questions could be explored in it's own episode and the audience could be led to wonder if Adrien is turning bad for a few episodes leaving the audience tense for what will happen next. Then later when the series introduces Felix, we the audience can see how Adrien could have become if he hadn't had the support of his new friendships. Felix, who looks like Adrien, presumably had a similar upbringing, and who even if he wasn't strongly affected by the disappearance of his aunt, with the combination of seeing how it affected his mother and then to later lose his father, Felix was less likely to choose the positive path that Adrien did so we see how both choices play out (maybe in time to line up with the existing season 4 finale) ...I think I rambled but I was curious what a good butterfly user would be. Google mentioned another term for the creature "hawk moth" is "humming bird moth" or "sphinx moth". The French version of the character I believe is called butterfly but Google translated it to sphinx. I'm now looking at names of butterflies to find one that might match Nuroo's appearance or symbolism. I swear the Miraculous fandom is luring me in but I don't know how to write or draw.

I think Adrien was the perfect Cat Noir but Marinette should not have been Ladybug. Kagami would have been a much better Ladybug, and Marinette was a good Multimouse. She's just not responsible enough to be such a major hero imo, and Kagami would manage much better and not get in trouble like this. All things considered, yeah, Mari is a weirdo...

I'm pretty sure the writers DID intend for Gabe to be Hawk Moth, they just couldn't figure out a way to hint it before the official reveal until this episode came out. And in my opinion, Simon Says did a good job with the foreshadowing.

@@Exifity_ It was Ladybug (episode) and yes he did detransform but he also took away Nathalie's akumatized powers. No Catalyst, no Scarlet akumas.
