Today we will cook a simple glaze for Easter cakes and not only for them.
Gelatin is poured with water and left to swell. Sugar is poured with four tablespoons of water
and we put it on the middle fire. Heat until the sugar dissolves. Let's cool gelatin a little.
Dissolve in microwave or water bath and add sugar syrup. Then mix the mixture.
We start beating with a mixer. Beat at high speed until whitening and increasing volume.
At the same time, the mass will gradually begin to thicken. It took me about four minutes.
Everything is ready for the glaze. Now you can cover the cakes with it.
If the glaze is frozen and becomes viscous, then it can be heated in the microwave
and it becomes fluid again. Gradually, the glaze will freeze again and will not stick to the hands.
Remains of glaze stored in refrigerator in closed container and if necessary
warm up and coat cakes or buns. This glaze is easy to prepare and very simple to apply.
