LinkedIn is a powerful tool to broaden your connections and make way for new opportunities.
My last three jobs have actually all been because of LinkedIn. I am definitely a supporter of this platform and decided to share some of my tips that worked on me to hopefully help you land that next job!

About Me Template:
- "I am a (job position). I am (adjectives describing your main skills), and (what makes you stand out from others). I am (something more personal about your mindset or your lifestyle and how it translates to your soft/hard skills in your career).
Recruiter Template:
- "Hi (Recruiter's First Name). My name is (Name) and I’m a (Title). I'm passionate about (something the company you’re applying to might be addressing - clinical research / environmental sustainability / cloud storage) and I admire (how they're treating or addressing their industry / technology). Thanks for connecting and I hope you have a great day!"
After they connect with you
“ Thank you for accepting my connection request. I love your company, I saw this (position) is open, can you tell me what it would take to earn the opportunity to interview with you?"
Referral Template:
"Hello (Person's First Name). My name is (Name) and I saw there was a job opening at your company for a (Job Title) position. I noticed we went to the same (similarities). Coming from a similar background, what can you recommend for someone in my position to best approach this role? I believe I would be a great fit and would love it if you would be able to be a referral for the position. Thank you so much and looking forward to hear from you!"
