Simple mini-tubs for the Mustang

Working to finish up the rear wheel tubs on the 65 Mustang coupe, Blackpowder.
These minitubs are needed to clear the 315/35 r17 nitto tires out back. I trimmed out the original tubs and part of the frame, and hopefully I don't need to roll or widen the fenders.
This is picking up where I left off several years ago on this drag and drive style build, so I don't have any good pictures or video of the process, only the finish!

Little tip for you. Next time your weld wire is oxidized like the take a piece of scotch brite and a small spring clap and clap the scotch brite to the wire before the feed roll assemble and it will feed better.

Big tubs 😎 I usually weld in a long sleeve T shirt. Those green welding coats work ok too. Im not a fan of the sleeves especially when you get a hot one stuck in one of ends.

All my long sleeve shirts are too heavy. Maybe I just need to get up at 5am and weld...yeah right.
