Wow! We’re so happy to know that you replicated this dish with success. Woohooz!! We’re so happy for you and happy for us too 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 thank you sooo much for using our recipe, Evelyn 🙏🙏🙏
Another successful try from your recipe. I replaced huatiao with shaoxing because I don't have it and added onions and cubed cucumber too. Turns out just as nice though I had to add more sauce. Thanks
Hi Sir.. Thanks for the recipe.. I saw many recipes.. N this is very simple.. I tried it while ago.. My husband n son like it very much.. Once again Tq...
Thank you for this recipe! I just tried it and my family loved it! Even without the sauce (I stole a piece), it tasted great too! Didn't have plum sauce so I substituted it with vinegar. Added some sugar in the sauce too~
Thank you so much for your fantastic recipe. Tried it last night was very good. May I ask, instead of Tapioca Flour, can I use Cornflour for the crispy coating for same result. Last night I happen to have some tapioca flour. normally, I only stock cornflour, I am trying not to buy too many types of flour as I cook only for 2 persons. Thank you for yr reply.
Hi The pork cubes turned out to be crispy and yet tender inside. Delicious ! For the gravy sauce, I didn't have the Worchester sauce so I used the black vinegar as mentioned. However the taste was a bit overpowering so I had to use a bit more lemon juice to attenuate it. Overall the taste was still excellent. I would stick to your sweet and sour fish gravy recipe to make the sauce. Thank you very much.
Just tried it, it is yummy! The pork is so crispy, and the sauce is perfect, even though I used canned pineapples. My kitchen was rather messy from the flour, double frying etc. How did you do it so easily😁?
Hi Roland really appreciate all your videos. Making an amateur like me a pro!.. best part is family enjoy the food and bonding 😅 Thank you!!! btw it’s ‘wooh-stur-sure’ ~.
Hi. May I know what is the difference of mixing corn flour or tapioca flour during marination and dusting with corn flour, tapioca flour, plain flour, sweet potato flour? Because many recipes have varying combinations. Which is the best combination or retaining crispiness then?
Hi Rosie. Yes you can use the same method. Alternatively, we do have a sweet and sour fish recipe here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r4NfqUm9Gvc.html but it’s not as crispy as the pork version. Happy cooking!
I've just watched your video for sweet and sour fish. The ingredient list is different. Why can't I simply replace the fish with pork and follow the fish's recipe?
Hi Cat. The plum sauce used here is made from sour plum but yes you can use plum jam. As I’ve not used plum jam before, I suggest that you use a small portion and build on if you think it’s necessary. Happy cooking
+sulasno wow. That's Roland's Favourite. Okie on! But might take a while because we have filmed some of our videos which have been scheduled. Thank you so much for your request! 😘😘😘
Spice N' Pans your videos are great and I've made many of your dishes (I live in Australia but my tummy still thinks it's in Singapore) so I'm really looking forward to your video on this.
