Yes. I haven't found a manual for this old parallel port version, but the manual for the USB version is still on MOTU's web page, and it has a description of all the presets, and I think they are the same.I only ever used the Live Keyboards preset though, that did what I wanted (except for the problem with a TR-909 and clock signals).

@@RegebroRepairs ok, yes - that one looks good! Thanks for sharing the video. I should prob check the battery in mine. But i guess factory presets are staying in lace, either way (?)

@@EvLoutonian Yeah, the factory presets work either way, but with a working battery it seems to remember which preset you had, which is nice.

Yeah, the strange thing is that adding the battery fixed the corrupt state.

No, it uses a parallel port for PC (and a serial port for Mac), so for pretty much any PC at the time, you wouldn't need any cards.

The configuration software for this device doesn't use MIDI, it talks to the device over a parallel port. If there is some way of configuring it over MIDI, that would be awesome, but there's no mention of that in the manual or on the internet.

@bookmarkthis ​ You can't use all features, as far as I know. The MOTU MIDI Express needs drivers installed, and a software called Clockworks. The drivers for this old parallel port version does not work on 64 bit Windows. It still works, you just can't program it, you can only use the existing programs. However, the presets are quite useful, I used it on the "Live Keyboards" preset, which echoes everything from all inputs to all outputs, except the corresponding input. So everything on Input 4 is echoed out to all Outputs, except output 4. This way you can connect up to 8 keyboards and control each keyboard from all other keyboards. The only problem is if you have a TR-909, which I have.
