@@BuffaloNickel9 Great brush, insane backbone. Starts off prickly at first but after a few uses, the tips get soft and it becomes a banger of a brush. Wouldn't use it everyday since the backbone feeling is intense and since i have sensitive skin, can sometimes irritate if I use it daily, however it's become my go to bowl lathering brush.

+Vadim Don They're incredibly expensive. I used to think that there couldn't be that much difference between a $40 brush and a $400 brush. I was wrong. I might never be able to afford the $400 brush, but it certainly spoiled me for the rest of the brushes that I'll use. ;)

+chirhomin I have to agree that as good as it could be there is no solid reason to have such a huge expense. In fact it cost more than all my current den that will last for the next 4 years daily shave. Anyway, thanks for the nice review :)

I think that "cost/value" is a pretty subjective thing. I would never spend $400 on a brush in my current life-situation, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a reason to do so. If I made significantly more money, I might buy one. I used to think that there was no way that a brush could be worth $400, then I used one. The difference IS noticeable. The question is this: is that difference worth $400 to someone. clearly, for some, the answer is "yes," and for some, the answer is "no." If you're satisfied with your den, then I'm glad. I'm satisfied with mine, too. However, there will always be some pieces that I would love to add. This is one of them!

Well, I just bought one and I'm definitely not in the top 1%. As mentioned in the video, this brush can last the rest of your life and I expect the one I bought will. I look after my things and that includes my shaving equipment. I don't expect to buy another brush for a very long time if ever. To me that makes this brush affordable over the long run.
