The simplest points to plot are on the axes, and these are where x=0 and y=0, so just substitute into x+2y=8: When x=0, 2y=8, so y=4. When y=0, x=8. Does that help?
This is my least favourite topic in all of the gcse spec and, being in set 1, it was kinda rushed through. I have an exam in 3 days so I decided to focus on quadratics as I had no idea what to do and this video has genuinely taught me more in 8 minutes than my teacher taught us in like 3 hours.
