I read reviews (4/10). I went and saw the movie. I'll never trust another review. This movie wasn't as good as the first. I loved Roark, and Dwight. Good actors. I give the movie an 8/10 because I got exactly what I expected. It was the graphic novel plus a couple cute short stories.
This movie was good, it didn't deserve the rep it got. And the idiots that released it at the same time as those other block busters were ****ing retarted. A lot of people were just kids when the first movie came out so they had no idea how awesome the plots for the movies were... it's ashamed too, they missed out on this movie to watch talking turtles.
I don't understand why people hate this sequel. They said the story was bad. But don't think the 1st film are masterpiece because of story. I think people like it because of visual style and action scene. And 2nd are keep it better on this visual style thing. I really love both film and surly watch the 3rd one if they made it.
I guess the nostalgia factor is off. Since the movie had mostly an original script and wasn't based on the comics. It was still written by Frank Miller though.
Did a double-feature with this and 300 part 2. Couldn't have been a better match- The "Drooling Over Evil Eva Green Double-Frank Miller Sequel-Feature." (The name needs work.)
I got and read almost all the graphic novels (am looking the 6 and 7 volume), the movies was good, both, resumed...but well, the minor changes not affect much the general story.
Dwight and the asian girl are pretty bad ass. The villain gets what deserves in end...which satisfies me knowing this, as does that the final scene is the perfect conclusion - couldn't of been more so! Though I didn't mean to come across it on another channel now I certainly will hire this mmmm maybe watching it with D.Gion will prove even more enjoyable, I'll have to suggest it now! *^____________^* The pool scene reminds me of a personal memorie that refreshing warm breeze felt satisfyingly delectable! (^,^*)
Harnnigan is just a ghost(a hallucination to Nancy), Marv survived for a unknown reason not remembering what am happened in the first movie, and yea I think the only thing that didn't make sense to me was Goldie being alive even though she died
3D...Eva...diving into pool...Loup Garou! She IS a Dame to Die For! Piano...wine...books...sigh! Vous Êtes la Meilleur actrice du Monde!!!! Ah oui...?!
The Dame to Kill for takes place beforehand. The story where they kill roark is just a different short story and has nothing to do with the line of graphic novels.
Tom Park actually both johnny's and nancy's stories are part of the canon of the sin city universe. miller wrote both stories himself. and they do fit into the story. it's not as if senator roarke died in the comics a different way and the directors deliberately changed it for the film.
Johnny Marlin I haven't. I've made assumptions about her. I've never been impressed with her as an actress. Luckily I can still enjoy a movie even when I don't like particular actors/actresses so, really this whole conversation is moot. You're wasting my time and yours.
the reason miho's actress changed was because the original actress got pregnant right before prduction started. and dennis haysbert took over manute because michael clarke duncan dies a few years ago.
*SPOILER* Movie was 10/10 but the ending was HORRIBLE.The only thing that can save this movie's ending is to make a sequel where we get to see thet Nancy went insane and was just imagining that she killed Roark
