I never knew Kayode Fashola was not a band leader until this very minute, that beautiful voice was Emos Bakare. I shed tears when I heard how Ayinde Bakare was murdered.
This Abioro! He was always lucky to find best musicians but always a cheat to everyone of them all!! No one ever said anything good about him...haba!!!! This is a very interesting interview. May God bless Baba Sina Bakare for all these great revelations.
Egbon Shina,a true Lagosian, equally spent my youthful years on the island, Hawley Street precisely, once watched you live at Freeman Street Lagos, this is nostalgic, may you live long sir.
What an interview; my dad once told me that juju music originated from the ijeshas and I asked him what about adamo and he said adamo was from ile ife, but I never believed him. But this interview has confirmed what he said.. God rest his soul…
Wasiu Ayinde's real name is Ishola, Barrister is Ayinde, his father's name was Balogun... D only name that was added to his name was Barrister.. & he took if from his composer from inception's name Jibowu Barrister..
My brother, you have enough data to be a Professor in History of Yoruba popular musician/music...Thank you for not keeping away this informations away from the public. You really gladdens my heart when listening to your interviews.God bless you sir
Oluwa ooo, gbadura Wa ooo, I swear I just remember this music instantly it's being played, & I never knew Ayinde Bakare sang it, I thought it was Kayode Fashola.. Wow, almost all his records I still remember.
You are doing a fantastic job interviewing all these Yoruba legends we grew up knowing 👏 Can you please interview Wale Daniel about the life and music of Pa Ojoge Daniel. Wale Daniel is Pa Ojoge's son. He is a lawyer now based in Ibadan. He may also be known as Wale Ojoge Daniel
You can be the pioneering person who will carry out a well told documentary on the metamorphosis of music in Nigeria from early 1900 till present. You have enough materials to do it. All the best
These are incredible stories! It is saddening that Ayinde Bakare's came to a tragic end. This story should be told again and again and in multiple forms (including biographies, documentaries, etc). Abioro is a hero of music promotion in Nigeria and a villain (as multiple historical sources have indicated). One thing that we cannot ignore is the story of Ayinde murder tells us that impunity, injustice and blood have been flowing on Nigeria's soil for a long time. Agbaman Adeyanju thank you for this and other interviews.
Uncle Bakare you. have said it all and put the record straight most especially about the sudden death of your father. Sinners will not go unpunished. May the Almighty Allah be with you and grant. Baba Alijhana friidaus
Well done Sir. May the good Lord continue to bless guide and strengthen you for long healthy life. May your children and other generations live fulfilling and glorious years. Amen.
This is a great job, Dele. This is historical and great stuffs. Dele you need to do more for visibility . You have great potentials but visibilities is needed for better opportunities. Well done . This is documentary per excellence
This is a very comprehensive interview.Ayinde Bakare played severally for my late father Alhaji B.M Alli and his club Egbe House. He was the one that played during my father's house warming in Oct.1970.Please can you upload many of Ayinde Bakare's songs and DO Akinola. Thanks
Father of all Father giving us the Lagos vibes. Love ❤️ him. O nta Bush, o nta igbo. I can listen to this a million times ❤️ Aremu Afolayan. Please work on this 👍 great Yoruba musical heritage, especially when this legend is alive. Please Aremu🙏
The interviewer was not prepared nor structured. Please for heaven sake if you are documenting our history, culture, heritage kindly do it justice by being patient. Research properly. Infact go back and do this interview properly. Abeg for prosperity sake. I am highly interested. Nonetheless kudos 👏 💐.
Wow.. I really enjoyed this interview. So much information was revealed. If not for this, many still believe Ayinde Bakare's body has not been found . Thank you, Mr Sina for letting us know this. Love you sir you are an encyclopedia of music. To Baale Agbaletu ...more grace.
Really There is this aspect which my daddy told me the power in the name of ayinde it is highly spiritual even there was this unproven facts or claims that ayinde Bakare death body was pilfered to improve their voice to mimicking ayinde Bakare voice
GOD BLESS YORUBA NATION NO Going BACK YORUBA NATION, SINA BAKARE you will Live Long, God is at your back, Because you speak to the truth about ALHAJI BOLARINWA ABORO,
Well done brother. Keep up the good work. I’m sure we can bring back juju music to it’s very best. I believe contents like this can inspire the younger generations to start looking into juju music. There’s is still a huge market for juju music but it has to be done properly.
I watch this program once in a while and thankfully I was fortunate to have watched this one,so good it revealed the truth that I have been longing to know for so many years,it is indeed very educative as it is revealing. What I heard was that late Ayinde Bakare was playing somewhere and some people came to the venue and tricked him away from the venue and his corpse was later found floating on the dirty water just after about three days.I happen to fall into the era of the old school and I want to beg this presenter to stop being forward, this is how we can learn because if you keep saying things ahead of the people that you are interviewing they might say that if you already know it why then are you asking them. The people that have the advantage to learn are the people that can listen.Like I said I belong to the old school and truth is that I still learn from this program because there are so many things that happened years ago that we are only able to know the truth from the horses mouth.Good job, keep it up.

Yakubu Abioro Bolarinwa , this man, only d Almighty Allah can save this man from punishment, no one ever talk good of him... O ga oooo Astagfrullahi Wa tubulehi.
How many of Bolarinwa Abioro's children are really successful in the real sense of being successful today ? I just want to know... Whatever we are doing today, we must remember what Yoruba call Àtubòtán. Bobby Aladeniyi, Sunny Aladeniyi (King Sunny Ade) and Ayinde Bakare was exploited and humiliated by Bolarinwa Abioro, can anyone point to any legacy of Abioro apart from dirty controversies ? Let us remember 2moro in whatever we do today. Bolarinwa Abioro lived as if he will be alive forever.
That Bolarinwa Abioro must be a very wicked person in his lifetime all because of money. He had a lot of problems with many artists of his time. He had problems with Ayinde Bakare, King Sunny Ade and many others.
The records like OJU OWO KII PỌN DADA, Rántí Ọmọ eni ti Iwọ n se and Ìyàwó to mọ yayi Ọkọ just to mention view So Kayode Fashola was not the one that LED the vocal?
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X4uztov1JQM.html I think this particular sound could be Kayode Fashola. It does not really sound like Amos Bakare or typical Ayinde Bakare
In as much as i enjoyed the interview and Baba knowledge. But Baba needs to be corrected. WHAT does he mean by Boss .. Monsuru Akande is not a boss to Sikiru Barrister. 😂😂😂😂 i laughed when i heard him contradict himself. Monsuru Akande sang fuji and then he mentioned that it was barrister that named it fuji. And that it was were...... from that analogy even a mad man can deduce that Monsuru Akande did not start as a Fuji singer and that it was Barrister who reformed it..... GIVE HONOR TO WHOM HONOR IS DUE.... BARRISTER CREATED FUJI..... PERHAPS BECAUSE OF BARRISTER'S PRIDE IN HIS EARLY 30's..,A LOT OF MUSICIANS DON'T LIKE HIM
Monsuru Akande did his first record ahead of Barry... D same year , 1966, while Barry & King Sunny Ade recorded their first record d same day. Monsuru Akande's record was were not Fuji, same thing with Barry, until 70's when Barry changed d face of were to Fuji around 1974.
