Willie Nelson's first show in Enid, OKlahoma after Merle's passing. Merle and willie were touring together and were supposed to perform. Jamey, Chris and Morgane were traveling with Willie performing and recruited Ryan Bingham to help with the tribute. They sang many of his songs in tribute to merle.

Damn, this is a masterclass on how proper respect is given. Jamey, Chris and Ryan are conduits to the traditional format that inspired their own writing and performing talents. They completely understand the need and drive to retain the connection to honor the legends that preceded them and paved the way. That’s the privilege of collecting extra birthdays; you learn, understand and appreciate the deeper significance of the things you didn’t grasp when you were younger. Jamey Johnson is a powerhouse Extraordinare in this paradigm.

It is about time, I been saying for a long time that CS & JJ should do something. I think they should collab... Other than the ole'timers that still live,,, these two are the best there is. If I had to pick the best ten or less, there is one and two right there. These two together would be unstoppable.... I can't say enough good about them unless they get together..... Epic to say the least for sure.

jeff black have you ever seen him live? I have several times and the man can sing. You don't have to like him and you don't have to agree with me! I personally, believe these 3 are what country should be. A little less Luke, FGL, and all that and a hell of a lot more of these guys!! I'm not trying to compare any of these guys to each other...simply think these 3 on tour would be amazing.

I do the shush first. The politely ask to quit the loud talk if that didn’t work. Next it’s shut up with the death stare. That usually works for me.

Like I've already commented, human beings talk. That's what they do. I've been to many shows, and people talked during every one of them. That's just the way it is. When people go to shows, they don't go there with the intention of making studio type recordings, where you don't hear anything other than the music. They go there to have a good time/enjoy themselves, and that involves some talking. People listen to albums for uninterrupted experiences.

They are two different voices. Johnson has more of a traditional country sound while Stapleton has more of a Blues Gospel sound.

I would love to hear this. But, for the indiscriminate shouting in the background, I really can appreciate it. What is it about people? They think that their idiotic assertion of a scream is somehow uplifting? I would have loved to have heard that.
