Chloe Chua liking Percy Jackson and also orders bubble tea the same way I do makes her feel like she is a bit more approachable, rather than just someone my age put in a pedestal in which they're disconnected from the world
The fact that she practices 6 hours a day makes me realize she’s not a prodigy with some obscure birthright, but the culmination of years of practicing to hone in her skill.
It seems you have misunderstood the definition of “prodigy”. Prodigy is someone who exhibits outstanding or extreme talents in any subject or manner from a young age, (which fits the requirements for Chloe’s standard). It does not matter that she practices up to six hours a day, musicians are not born with talent. They practice and work towards their standard. Prodigies are simply musicians that started from a younger age therefore creating the sense that they are masters of their art during their childhood whereas people whom started later may earn their masters later in their life.
I absolutely love how Chloe is into Greek mythology while being a classical violinist…they really go hand in hand. Learning Greek mythology and the old Greek culture helps us learn more about what helped shape our culture today. As someone who is blessed with a classical Christian education and learns in depth about Greek mythology and culture in my everyday life, I am so glad Chloe appreciates classical studies in violin playing and in history in general. I didn’t think our lives and appreciations would be so similar. Love you Chloe! And thank you for inspiring me to practice my violin for 40 hours (or more realistically 2-6 hrs) a day🥰
Such a great short video. Chloe comes across as a nice, humble and passionate young lady. Plus, she knows how to make the most of her spare time, it motivates to catch up on things that I was putting off or take up sth new
She's grown beautifully. I've seen her the 1st time she blew up on the internet in 2018 during menuhin. She was small back then but was already bearing the maturity of a real prodigy.

Chloe is a blessing and a delight!! Her parents must be so proud. I showed my 4-year-old a video of Chloe playing at the 2018 Menuhin competition and to my surprise, she actually listened! Thank you for sharing this video of Chloe's life. I appreciate that she has hobbies, like reading and origami, outside of violin as well.
What a lovely girl. Is totally impresive how good she plays the violin because her long training and her own skills. Hope that she feels relaxed and excited for new challenges though they aren't related to music.
Chloe is WAY TOO RELATABLE! I'm also a Percy Jackson fan, and I also keep check of my height using the wall and reward myself with bubble tea!!! It's amazing how she's the definition of Ling Ling but also has a very human side!!
I literally had that origami book as a child and the star that she made is one I used to make a lot. Chloe if you happen to reading this you should try making the chinese vase next. It seems difficult but is actually not that hard to make.

@@woodenman1954 Karolina isn't interested in practicing 8 hours a day to become a classical soloist, she has other interests in life. 3 hours a day is enough, Chloe is already saying she misses doing what other kids do and it will soon hit her when shes 18 that shes lost her childhood
@@woodenman1954 I didn't change the subject, I just said Karolina has no interest in being a classical violinist, she is just a 13yo busker with 10 million followers which will increase to 15 then 20 and she will be the most well known and viewed violinist in the world, I said nothing about her being the best

I always wonder how she manage to practice 5-6 hrs / day from what I’ve heard. Turns out she’s home schooled. It make more sense now. But 5-6hrs / day?! Damn. Ling ling is proud!
She is my idol before I know the "twosetviolin" I watched her concert "I forgot the term"when she was I child ,and now she is like my big sister,we are 2 years gap
The English subtitle translation at 2:32 is not very accurate. What her Teacher said was _"I hope in future, she could progress _*_much further_*_ in her musical journey"._ The subtitle _"I hope that she can continue down this path of music"_ is a bit lacking and made it seem like Chloe was exploring other options. Not saying she wasn't, but that was not what her teacher meant.
Thanks, that alternative translation makes much more sense. I think Chloe is devoted to her art with cast-iron conviction. I don't think she is exploring or even interested in any other option.
Closest thing to LING LING, definitely practising more than 6 hours a day I didn't realise she was still so young, not a queen but a princess apparently!
I've just got myself through the Percy Jackson series. Now, I understand the situation much better. We must help Godess Chloe to take her rightful place among the Gods and Godesses of the Olympus :)
If she has more social life, her skills and style will flown higher. Like anything in life, experience it not playing note to note! Hoping their parents read this, be in love , you cannot be reading in a novel but experience it!
