I managed to tried Wok Hey after it was opened to Malaysia. I tried the Egg Fried Rice with Grilled Chicken, and it really taste good. Couldn't wait to try more. 😋

In East London, a lot of Chinese takeouts are Halal. Seriously. No pork buns, dumplings, wontons or ribs. No char siu pork, and the pancake rolls and fried rice are boring AF without it. Sure they use chicken for dumplings and wontons and beef ribs, but they really aren't the same 😭😭😭

Yesterday rice is the best for fried rice, it doesn't sticky, doesn't absorb much oil and water, and it have a perfect al dente kind in mouth 🤤

In descending order....the first chef was best, then the last guy. The second chef with the shrimp just did NOT have the wok hey. Plus he threw everything in all at once. SMH

I think the closest thing to this wok eatery is Panda Express in the USA.. but I’m sure the flavors are more authentic there than at Panda Express.. looks fresh and delicious.. can’t wait for Mrs. Bacons to give eye smiles and if it’s really delicious she does a wiggle. 😁. As a former restaurant owner I give a great thumbs up to the professionalism the Wok Hey show in this video. Very well organised and seems to be very clean and well maintained. Looks delicious. Too bad my windows version came without smell application.

It is indeed! They're insane. I walked away for 30 seconds using my Buffalo induction with it at just 2000 watts and there was a red hot glowing ring in the wok. I can't get that with gas no matter how long it's on. You can cook meat and it tastes like it's been barbecued and get that char on chow mein you can't get normally.
