Love this review. I used to be that person who blamed problems in my sewing on my machine. Now looking back on years of sewing I know that most every time as a beginner it was me, it was user error and it is still me, needing to learn. New machines take time to learn, especially computerized machines. All the videos you have completed are super helpful. Thanks

yes its true, never rely on reviews, whilst they are good to a degree at the end of the day what works for you, works for you. I can't wait for this machine to be available in the UK as I still have my machine from when I was a beginner and I'm hoping to advance my skills both in costume making and hopefully embroidery to create more unique designs. I also want this machine for the big touch screen and the automatic thread cutter, I have never had a sewing machine in my arsenal that has that function and Im a lazy thread cutter, a lot of my projects are covered in thread tails so to have a cutter built in the machine will make me enjoy projects that much more

Great info!!! I purchased this machine as a back up machine to my Viking Epic . It’s a great machine, especially for the price. You are my go to when something isn’t working on my machines. 99% of the time it’s user error

This is a great machine and truly an incredible value. It is comparable in many ways to some of the higher end models by HV and has access to the mysewnet via WiFi which is amazing. It would be a good way to try embroidery first before taking the plunge for a $$$$ machine. The *only* thing I am disappointed about with this machine is the hoop is just a tiny bit too small to do 5x7 designs...which means it's not out of the box easy to do most kimberbell projects. Like all embroidery machines there is a learning curve but so far it is a powerful little machine that is perfect for learning, taking to events (it's size is compact and easy to store), and as a backup.

This machine doesn’t photograph well in my opinion. It’s bigger than all of the pictures that I have been seeing online. I got to see one at a Husqvarna Viking studio. I have a Jade 20 but I was considering the Jade 35 for embroidery. I’m leaning towards this one now!

Does anyone know how to reduce presser foot pressure on a sewing machine if it doesn't have a pressure dial ?

I've been sewing for 50 years and have always owned Singer machines. I currently own six machines and all of them work beautifully. This one, though... I can't even get it past the setup to the point of being able to sew on it. Just trying to get it connected is giving me a major headache.

@@Sewingmastery Thanks for the reply. I had a friend come over to help me look at it with fresh eyes. Took us a couple of hours, but we got it working. The problem wasn't with the machine at all, but with my Wi-Fi! We logged in using a mobile hot spot and it worked perfectly. I bought a new modem/router and everything is fine now. So I will correct my previous comment and state that my brand loyalty remains.

Is this video about your other videos or a review for Singer 9180? Very rarely do I post a negative review, but here I couldn't skip it. This is not a review whatsoever. A review is based on the product's pros and cons. What I found throughout your videos is that you have a tendency to reference online courses too much instead of focusing on the product. Stick to the subject and place less emphasis on everything else. Folks are spending their valuable time to watch according to the subject and should receive it. This was a waste of time.

This is not a review, it is a long chat about why it is important to take online classes and to really get to know the basics before advancing. The title to the video does include the works "Should You Buy It". Hence I was expecting a sound review of the pros and cons to the machine, with an end wrap of if the pros weighed in more than the cons. None of this, in my opinion, were included.

I appreciate plugs for classes and businesses in any videos, but I feel like you said nearly nothing about this specific machine, just embroidery in general, and preaching your courses.
