I met this dude at the Masquerade in Atlanta in 2000 by the merch table after they opened the show; they were a last-minute replacement for Bracket (still pissed about that) and he was a complete asshole.

The drummer talks about this on a podcast. Says it was no big deal. And he played in the Ataris after this event as well. However, he is the drummer of Bowling For Soup now, so who cares. Haha

Rob is the bassist for Bowling for Soup, Gary Wiseman is the drummer. Rob is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Have met him and the rest of the band multiple times. I alway thought the drummer set the tempo and a decent guitarist will match tempo with the druma... but I'm not a musician so whatever, singer was way out of line

Everybody else aside from the singer said they didn't think he was drunk and he kept the beat fine. Seems more like the singer was cokes out. Probably why I havent heard anything from the Ataris in at least 10 years, while the drummer is now the bassist for Bowling for Soup. 😊

Lots of these guys are losers financed by rich parents. Wealthy kids are often the biggest, most spoiled shitbag humans, with no understanding of how hard someone has to work to afford nice equipment.
