I enjoyed your reaction to Angelina and Toby. Toby Gad is a multi Grammy award winning songwriter and producer. He has produced award-winning hits for many of the biggest superstars in the music industry, including names like Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Beyoncé, and more. He has recently produced an album of his top songs called Piano Diaries. He invited Angelina to perform If I Were a Boy with him at piano, and with cello. It was also released with a music video. The song was originally made famous by Beyoncé in 2008, and has received over 600 million views. Most believe Angelina's version is much more intimate and emotional, and she has made it hers. Move over Beyoncé! It is more of a reimagining than a cover. Toby and Angelina also have been working on some original music. I agree, Almost every song she does she has the music stop and she finishes the song with her vocals. Like when she did I put a spell on you when she was 9, She gave all the musicians a little booklet with these are my wishes written on it not Demands Wishes she controlled the band, At the last wish she said at this note all the music stops then she finished on her own. The song will be released in a month or so, but both Angelina and Toby have given James Thiel the green light to upload his remarkable recording of a live performance of the song back in May 16th. You have never heard Angelina's full belting power, but I think we're approaching her limit in that one. But she's in ABSOLUTE control yet again, live, which makes me wonder if she has yet another step up in power if she wants to. Nice to see that you promote yourself a little in your reactions, too. Great reaction Andrea. There is also an official video of this song. It’s the same vocal track except with more contemporary instrumentation. The instrumentation and the video of Angelina walking through the streets of London in a hoodie gives the other version a different vibe. Yes the background vocals are most likely Angelina. For the most part she usually does her own backing vocals.

A very nice reaction Andrea! This was a song I really didn't care for, but her rendition of this made me a fan. She adds more feeling and emotion than Beyonce. On the piano is the co-writer of the song, Toby Gad. Just to let you know, the other co-writer of the song, BC Jean, was the first to sing the song as well as the person the song came from. The man that she was in love with had just broken up with her. Per Toby, he played it for Beyonce one day and she really wanted to sing and use this song, and the rest you say is history. Angelina is over 1.80 m (5.9 feet) tall. But she is not skinny. She has very female proportions. This means her femur (thigh bone) is 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches) wider than that of a smaller person. This results in her thoracic diaphragm having a larger area. The volume of her lungs is obviosly larger too. This all results in her not only having more breath available (for power and breathiness) but a larger resonance chamber. The latter allows her a lower registry. By the age of 25 she will probably exceed 1.90 m (6.25 feet) - further increasing the above factors.
