I kept having trouble with this machine jamming with a whole mess-web of thread coming out from where the bobbin sat, and I couldn't find many videos where it described the problem and a reasonable solution, so I decided to make my own.
Holy hell this video was a really big help!!! It seems so obvious once you realize it ,but when you’re caught up troubleshooting and you’re looking at the bottom because that’s where the problem is, it’s hard to go back and think about the big picture. I wish I watched this video about 2 hours ago when I first started getting frustrated! I must’ve taken that bottom plate off and messed with the bobbin area components at least 25 times. 😮 Thanks for posting!
This is a problem if you don't thread it right, but it's not the problem that causes the jamming issue with these models. The thread is getting caught on the lower right corner as it spins around the bobbin. That issue is happening on the lower half. When the sewing machine jams, when the threads get tight, they can lift the plastic piece that the bobbin rests in out of its proper position. You have to remove the foot, the needle, and bobbin, then remove the two screws on the bottom plate with the provided screwdriver, and then you need to lift the black bobbin seat out and place it back in correctly. When the thread jams are can cause the plastic piece to rotate counterclockwise and then the machine will constantly jam on the lower right corner of the bobbin housing as the thread goes around. If you reposition the black piece properly, the upper thread will not get stuck again.
What if you’re using a smaller thread the size of the bobbin ? I dnt use the big threads, I usually just thread a bunch of bobbins but my machine thread keeps getting Jammed or it breaks ever 2 mins
