Singer/Songwriter reaction to VOICEPLAY - IN THE AIR TONIGHT - FOR THE FIRST TIME! 

I loved it before it was a classic and love what VoicePlay did here. What a first rate blend of voices. Eli has really blossomed being Tenor 1, and dang he's good. Layne must be an alien with a beautiful voice. Cesar's line "If you were drowning..." and the look of disgust. He's good. So great to have J None back. That group blends so well together. Geoff - amazing. They blew this one out of the water. VoicePlay just keeps getting better and better. I don't believe that anyone can touch them right now. I can't even think of what should be next but I'm ready.

I love how all 5 show off their baritone ranges in this song. Cesar is a baritone who sounds angelic as a tenor but would be terrifying as a bass, J is a baritone who also sings tenor and can cover bass, Eli is a tenor who also sings baritone and double as bass, Geoff is a bass who claims he's a baritone but easily sings tenor... and then there's Layne, a baritone human drum machine with possibly the widest range of them all: A0-C#6. They need to sing "Karma Chameleon" because they disguise themselves as all three ranges.

Voice Play does it again . They are amazing as always. Happy to hear more of Layne & Cesar. Thank you Brad for another great reaction to Voice Play.

Layne's been really upping his game lately! And it was already SO high up!

My favorite Phil Collins song and this brought back so many memories of the 80s and Miami Vice where Phil Collins first debuted this song in its pilot episode. Phenomenal cover from the guys. Every single one of them were brilliant.

Great rendition of an iconic song. Great job by ALL of them. This goes hands in hands with the Live in Paris version of Phil Collins, which is my favourite version of his. 🙂 See you next time! 🙂
