To clarify for those who aren't aware, the musical scale goes as follows: C, D, E, F, G, A, B. So, an "A6" is actually higher than a "G6," despite the fact that A is the first letter of the alphabet. It can get a bit confusing. With that in mind, here are the singers who managed to go even higher live than they ever did in the studio: Taylor Swift Zayn Malik Beyoncé Camila Cabello Miley Cyrus Kesha Perrie Edwards Demi Lovato Mariah Carey Selena and Ariana's highest notes are in the studio, while Shawn's studio and live peaks are the same. Thanks for watching! Edit: Selena has a falsetto G5 from “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
And how it goes with the numbers? Coz i thought that demi's highest note live was that A5 in sns but you put an F7 as the highest live.. I'm sorry I just don't know well this thing of the notes 😅😅
Francisco Vera as the number gets higher, the note is in a higher octave. The “Sorry Not Sorry” A5 is one of Demi’s highest notes in the mixed register; but she’s gone higher in other parts of her voice (head voice and whistle register).
Mariah is not even trying! It sounds too easy for her and it doesn't even sound that high! But it's a freaking Bb7!!! 1 note higher and it's the end of the piano!!
Jhanna Augustina CP most pianos end on C8, actually, but she’s almost there! Since she’s hit B ♭7 in 2017, I’m sure she could’ve hit a C8 in the 90s. Edit: I misread your comment, sorry😭
Mariah's highest ever studio note was an octave unison in Can't Let Go. She hit B7 there, it's proved. Also, Outside A7. You haven't been heard a while, waiting for your next videos)
Evan V Mariah’s studio A7 and B7 are iffy for me, so I excluded them to be safe. Ariana’s is usually excluded because it’s sort of screechy. Thanks! I was planning on doing one specifically for belts and one for lows.
Mariah highest note on studio is A7 as a background whistle in Outside or B7 as a background polyphinic whistle in Can't let Go, depending if you believe in the B7 or not (I confirmed that with audio pragramms, but...). Never knew Ariana hitted an Eb7 while talking. Amazing!
L.A. A lot of Mariah's whistles aren't even polyphonic calm down. The Bb7 wasn't polyphonic and she's hit every note in the 7th octave without it being polyphonic
Doesn't Selena have a belted G5 from revival tour and a G5 in falsetto from Carpool Karaoke? And was that A5 from Taylor in falsetto? Btw, great video!
Yonatan Borohov I personally don’t count the belted G5, but you’re right about the Carpool Karaoke note (All I Want for Christmas is You, right?). I totally forgot about that. Taylor’s A5 is falsetto, I believe (could be head voice or EXTREMELY light mix), and thank you!
Bb7 is A#7 btw and G#7 is Ab7 so her studio note is one full note or 2 semitones lower than her live note. C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C is how an octave is structured. E has no sharp and b has no sharp # therefore it's a semitone under F and C so Ab to A is 1 semitone and A to Bb is another also written as A#. The smaller b means flat and the # is sharp. Just further clarification on Kesha and Ari and Mc's ranges
I think many assessments are very professional and rational about two great singer.! I beileve people's analizying between two singers is very accurate. I am very similar to them, comparing two great singer. Mariah she was definitely best singer in the world in her prime day. I loved her so much before. Now, I think Sohyang is best singer in the world. Because I can't experience singer like Sohyang, nowadays. That's why we can let Mariah go and accept Sohyang as a best singer in the world. Thanks.
Correct :) However, it is meant to be sharp in the key of the song. Sometimes a note can be sharp accidentally, which is when it is between two different notes. It can be confusing since the terminology overlaps.
Zaf once yeah, the Daddy Lessons proof got posted after I posted this, I think. And Taylor’s F ♯7 was just sort of an exclaimed squeak, so it can’t be counted.
Spooky Maah I just used this range video and cropped out the text, I don’t know where the original is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-20EgQaHm7vk.html
