I love Sir Desmond! What a character and he's got buckets of common sense, unlike most of his colleagues. I wish he was my MP.

The solution is not vaccination for everyone as people are still getting and distributing covid even when fully jabbed, so that makes covid passports ludicrous.

I have a huge respect for Sir Desmond. He has consistently been an almost lone voice in Parliament, challenging the Government's ludicrous policies for dealing with the so-called pandemic. We need many more MPs like him.

I was on the point of getting jabbed, after being hesitant for some time. Until I realised that the only people wandering around with masks on in gale force winds and driving rain are the vaccinated. Does the jab cause some sort of cerebral trauma I'm unaware of?

I so love the way that Boris Johnson tells us that he will 'make his decision about Christmas’ next week. Whatever decision he makes my Christmas will be how I choose to spend it and with whom I choose to spend it. The actual arrogance of Boris Johnson and his government for them to say out loud “we will decide what will happen at Christmas!" NO! I will no longer put up with being told who I can and can't see in MY OWN HOME ever again, and especially now I know number 10 ignores their own rules and has done on more than one occasion. The exploitation of public is now huge. Some countries are now insisting on a PCR test every 7 days on top of a test before travelling and UK want another test on return. This makes seeing relatives abroad this Christmas financially impossible. Also the airport passport checks are deliberately understaffed for areas that serve UK passengers, because our "EU friends" are clearly miffed that UK decided to be independent. Next the EU will be crying that they have no tourists and that will be inevitable as they have placed too many obstacles in the way of travellers.

It’s not about health. NHS is in crisis every year. However now they won’t treat my wife for cancer because she has not been jabbed.

It's comforting to hear not all MPs are buying 'the narrative'. The big question is will enough of them have the backbone to save us all!

My mom's had a PCR test come back positive, and has a bad cough and can't taste anything. Nothing more than a bad cough and she is overweight, double jabbed and was due for a booster this week. I've had a cold for a few days, runny nose and temperature but testing negative, she's no more worse of than me and I'm health and only 18

Dezi's enthusiasm and performance reminds me of Patrick Moore. Always a joy to listen to.

There have been a few scientists I've respected because of their publications which I've loved who've gone full Authoritarian-like begging for mask and vaccine mandates, continuous lockdowns and even to go so far as to say that they should be running the country. I never thought I would see people I admire get so power hungry and it broke my heart.

I watched Sajid when Sir Desmond asked the question, it was pleasantly excruciating. I intend to carry on living my life regardless of any restrictions. I’ve had two jabs and have now completely lost faith, hence I’ve cancelled my booster, it achieves nothing. We’ve reached the stage that some people are scared of dying but, at the same time , are equally scared of living. Madness.

How to replace 40.000 care workers is a small problem to the amount your going to have to replace in the NHS come April.

This afternoon four policemen were ordering people going into a neighbourhood North London tube station to put on masks, making it known they would not be allowed on the tube if they didn't wear one. It felt so so dystopian and like a dictatorship. That's where we are now.
