3:33 Pitched down version
Only took me 4 years to get a proper SirenCon recording on here. This was easily the coolest part of the show for me, being from Cincinnati. My love of sirens was sparked back around 2005-2006 when my dad would take me to the Cincinnati riverfront every month on test day to hear the "yellowpoles" go off. The Lytle 1000 and courthouse 1000T were always the most prominent, so being able to hear that sound again almost 20 years later is extremely sentimental for me. The sirens here were running a bit faster and higher pitched than the real ones ever did, so I added a pitched down version to this video to simulate a more authentic sound (disregard the messed-up blower harmonics and goofy sounding voices). As a cherry on top, the 1000 in this video is an original Hamilton County unit (siren #34) and the 1000T is an original Minneapolis unit.
