I just love Siskel and Ebert, they had such perfect chemistry. Their bantering is legend.

My Left Foot is a good movie.

So Siskel gave Shocker a thumbs up, and Aliens a thumbs down.... nice.

The review of the terrible Shocker reminded me of what a wasteland for horror films the late 80s was going well into the 90s until Blair Witch and J Horror breathed some life into it. We had Freddy Kruger cracking pun-filled jokes like a Looney Tunes cartoon character, Chucky doing the same thing in the Child's Play movies and likewise the stupid killer in Shocker. It was probably the worst period for horror films in my lifetime.
