I saw Blue not too long ago and liked it.

And in 2018, still no musical version of I'll Do Anything. I'd love to have seen the musical numbers.

What a weird coincidence, I came here thinking about a movie that came out around 1994 about a father and a daughter, thought it might have been called "I'll Do Anything", discovered it wasn't the right movie, then a commercial for the movie I was actually thinking of came on at 18:40. Saw it in the theater when I was a youngster and immediately forgot about it forever after.

Blink was a good thriller

This was a feel-good, real-good thriller with Madeleine Stowe who did well with the Stakeout trilogy, Unlawful Entry and The Last of the Mohicans after a string of bombs that never helps her career because of the Hollywood blacklist and they are Revenge, Worth Winning, Closet Land et al. Joining her was Aidan Quinn of the Reckless fame. All under Sir Michael Apted's top- notch direction for New Line Cinema, a Time Warner Company.

The Last Picture Show was not Peter Bogdanovich's first film. It was his second.

It doesn't make any sense. He produce, wrote and direct his own projects starting with 1968's Targets at Paramount Studios and ending with 2014's She's Funny That Way at Lionsgate . He died in 2022 and survived by his two loving children.

Don’t you get it? Targets was his first film but The Last Picture Show was his second film.

i liked "The Thing Called Love". not saying its an American classic but i liked it, i took it for what it was, a sort of low budget simple film about a small group of simple characters.

I actually really liked A Thing Called Love. The music is good, the acting is top knotch and River plays a cocky a hole really well. It's an early film role for Sandra Bullock who shines as Mathis new friend. If you haven't seen the film, watch the director's cut. It was director Peter Bogdonich's last good film. FYI - Actress Samantha Mathis was dating River at the time of his death and was right by his side when he ODed outside the Viper Room.

You're not supposed to brush right after you eat. You should wait at least 30 minutes. It's actually healthier to brush right BEFORE you eat than immediately after.

"I don't make movies for theaters with cappuccino in the lobby" - that's funny that 20+ years later it's not uncommon to see cappuccinos in a lot of the higher-end mainstream theaters.

I think it would've been funny in that scene in I'll Do Anything where they read the actors' names and someone says, "Nick Nolte-drunk, but fuckin' funny!"

I don't think River wants to be remembered for some of his last films. I'd pick Stand by Me and Running on Empty myself.

Why is it always the films that are released by an actor posthumously shit? Look at River Phoenix and John Candy. Why didn't they just say, "Fuck it, let's bury this shit."????????
