I thought the same thing, but on the other hand we shouldn't be so quick to judge, there could be a reason we just don't know about. After my own LASEK procedure (laser eye surgery) my eyes were extremely sensitive to light for the first couple of weeks, and I almost couldn't keep my eyes open if I didn't wear sunglasses - including indoors.

@Tea Hee - Also the first woman walked up to the mic with her hands in her pockets, and the judge usually tells them to take their hands out of their pockets, but he didn't this time.

Where I live in Canada, a right hand turn at a red light is permitted only AFTER stopping completely and then proceeding if it is safe to do so.

It's the same in my part of southern California unless otherwise posted and many people don't know that you can turn left after stopping first, from a one way street onto a connecting one way street.

The turn on red always throws me off. In other states, you still have to make a complete stop at the red light before proceeding to turn right. Allowing someone to blow through the red even as a right turn seems really dangerous to me.

I am from INDIA. I have watched a lot of "caught in Providence" so much so that when I first saw the video of the right turn on red light without the sign I knew that the judge would dismiss the case.

You might have to use another scale for many of Judge Caprio's clients, I guess. They aren't familiar with most of the things in a western society. If they would have gathered more experience with these things, they possibly could have gotten a much better job...

This is an awesome court and show. Judge Caprio is wonderful, a kind and loving person. I love the lady with the low license plate number, I've never heard of such, in los Angeles, California those that are connected have the privilege of having their licenses sealed so that no one can see their records or information.

First case, don't you have to come to a complete stop before turning right? I don't get why this judge always lets people off just because there is no sign. A red light means you have to come to a complete stop before making a right hand turn.

Did she really tell the judge to calm down? She didn't even take off her sun glasses either or have the courtesy to call the judge your honor after the completion of their sentence. Would of made them paid the ticket in full

My father bought a Armstrong Siddley, Whitney model with his entails on the registration. JFS 100. The salesman on closing the deal noticed his name and the reg, he said if he'd known that before he would have charged more money. Sometimes it good to stay quite till the deal is done.

I believe Delaware has the same situation with license plate numbers. On the first case I guess he was saying the "no turn on red" sign was not there, or not prominently displayed? But even if that were the case, you have to stop before proceeding, which she clearly didn't do. Or maybe he just dismissed it because of the circumstances.

I just want to add that I think this is dangerous to make the right hand turn on a red. Sometimes you can’t see the traffic coming through or people walking through the intersection. I’m in ONTARIO Canada, we all have to come to a complete stop before making a right hand turn and some places you can’t even make the turn on a red, usually if it turning onto a 1 way street. God bless and be safe

Many people want to meet Judge Caprio coz of his compassionate friendly behaviour. What will be the process to see him? Obviously violate the traffic rule of the providence. Do not pay the charge, go to court. So, judge Caprio's friendly behaviour is responsible for many more traffic rule violation. Judge Caprio guilty for instigating people to violate traffic rule.😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
