Thank you Rosie. I know you can’t tell that’s why I wanted the sisterlocks because you can do everything with them, like braid outs twist outs roller sets, etc. They go through stages though, so I don’t know how long they are going to be at this stage. Maybe for 3 months but we will see. I love them. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@hiddencurls The maintenance, cost, and I prefer the versatility of my loose hair. Sister locs would be my locs of choice, if I decided to do it. My sister is about 7 years into her loc journey. Her hair is long and beautiful. She constantly talks about cutting her locs.

Wow! I figured it was the maintenance. My loctician says $100-$150 every 4-6 weeks. I figured with what I pay for products these days plus my salon visit having the locs would be cheaper. I also thought about how I love the versatility of my natural hair as well but I figured, what the heck 😂. In addition to that, Sister locks have a self retie class that I plan on taking probably a year from now. I do notice that some people cut their locs when they get too long. Thanks for sharing. @@hiddencurls My sister is talking about cutting them off, period. I've pretty much gotten my product spending down to a few staples. I'm also way over letting anyone else put their hands in my head. I'll follow your journey and might change my mind. I enjoy your content. It's nice to see a more mature lady out in these RU-vid streets.

How did you combat dryness after clarifying your hair for installation? Can you condition the hair?

@@benewiafe9861 No, you can’t condition the hair. That will cause your locks to slip. I spray water with the continuous mist bottle on my scalp only, and drink plenty of water and my hair does not get dry. Thanks for watching and commenting. Peace!

@@benewiafe9861 No, you can’t condition it. Just clarify prior to the install and that’s it nothing else can go in the hair.
