Oh wow -- I LOVE the Loc Journey Journal idea. I'm gonna pick that up! I got my installation at the end of August 2022 and even though it's already been just a bit over 4 months, I think it's still a great tool to document my experience!
You know I shouldn’t care, but people don’t compliment my loc journey. It’s such an out of the box moment that no one has nothing to say except my immediate family. Have you experienced compliment silence? I hate to believe that they don’t like it. I’m mad that I care. Any advice?
I think it depends on the area where you live. I’m a minority in my area so there aren’t a lot of people who look like me or have hair like I do BUT I get compliments from those who’ve noticed the changes. I think sometimes people just don’t know what to say.
@@brownilocksbooks thank you! True, since it’s such a leap for me, I guess they don’t know what to say. I got compliments on my permed hair. Oh well, also my area is saturated with all types of locs so I don’t stand out in a crowd☺️. Thanks for replying back to me! Happy MLK Day!
