Durning the pandemic we have been using videos on youtube to get our workout. We think Frankie's is the best! Thanks for energy and for keeping us active. We do your workout 3 times a week and it makes all the difference. Very refreshing.
We please asking Frankie to make some more videos... plz! They are super popular at my moms retirement home and people a lot of people are asking for more videos! I would think it would be very advantageous for everyone
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I LOVE THIS. TOMORROW(AS GOD WILLS) I AM 79 YRS. SORRY FOR THE CAPITALS, THESE HAND EXERCISES ARE MUCH NEEDED. NERVE DAMAGE FROM DIABETES, AND CARPAL TUNNEL. FOR ANYONE INTERESTED, THIS IS ALSO A CARB/CALORIE BURNER. THANKS AGAIN.
With fibromyalgia most times when you exercise you feel like crap the rest of the day, but I figured I feel like crap the rest of the day anyway so I did this whole thing and I’m very proud of myself. F it!!!
@@ricey888 for anyone interested. I typed in Jack LaLanne, and a bunch of his exercises can still bee purchased at of all places, Wal MartT( ON LINE) Thanks for responding
Basic but fast for seniors. Their comprehension of what you say takes a couple seconds longer to catch-on and start. Really too fast and excessive talking..but good exercises. (I teach group fitness and am a a NASM certified Senior Fitness Specialist). Thank you sir.
tahuya naturals - I’m not judging or discriminating. My statement is based on my experience from teaching seniors over the past two years. I’m telling you the following to support my statement- not to espouse my accreditation’s...I have 11 classes a week at various locations. Groups of seniors in class range from 78-105. I’m also a senior (age 62). It is obvious and factual that their comprehension and response time is considerable slower than younger groups- my gosh I see it in myself! This is a scientific fact actually taught to certified personal trainers - it’s not a judgement. Beyond response time and comprehension time, the vision field narrows, distance perception declines, and balance greatly declines. Physiological changes take place with all regards in the human body. Science. If I taught the exact pattern of exercises at this rate of speed, I can assure you the greater majority (if not all), will take a beat or two to start the move. The pace is fast, too fast for the elderly. If you are a Senior Fitness Specialist CPT, I am surprised your certifying program didn’t teach you this. No disrespect meant in my response to you. But to say my comment is judgmental and discriminatory is unfounded. Perhaps you might consider your comment isn’t based in science nor experience? Best regards.
@tahuya naturals No she hasn't . Love these exercises but they are way too quick for people who need them the most. Otherwise, great varied and fun exercises and would love to see more videos from this gent. He is great.
Ella Nola thank you kindly. I actually did this video and as a “younger senior” I found it too fast, which for the elderly seniors can compromise them if correct execution and good form aren’t used. Speed is beneficial in cardiovascular training for most, but not in this type of movement. I just say I DO LIKE his profession of movements. Tweaks can be made to suit the audience in the room but overall I learned so nice new movements I can use in some classes. Have a great day!
hew195050 If you’d read my second post carefully, the senior population I’m referring to in my classes has a a median age of 84. They are elderly and more frail. Check the American Arthritis Association and view the pace of their videos. This man, myself and yourself are likely more fit to begin with. To say I’m implying seniors are brain dead is stupid and doesn’t apply to my comment. Without taking pauses to catch the breath after a few circuits or movement will result in many feeling dizzy as well. Have you taught this fast to the elderly population yourself?
Moves go too fast to be effective. Some are only done on 1 side not both sides. This is an older video and there are many others that have better results
