OMG I've been doing this the hard way!! Also, it's nice to get these longer videos once in a while, especially when they are so jam packed with good info.
Thanks for this Kenny! - I setup a drum kit based on your Samplomatic5000 video but this is much nicer - simpler but that's fine. Although this is an elegant and easy to use solution. Thanks too Sitala for giving us this. keep them coming! UPDATE: The multi track output is not really working in Windows - it seems very screwed up - anyone else seeing any problems? It seems this is only of any use after you have recorded the kit and it for mixing only. You are not able to record the parts as separate tracks which would be useful.
I am on Windows and it works perfectly fine for me. I opened a new project in 6.71 and added Sitala to a track. Didn't record or make any midi at all. Then selected 16 channel output and it right away put 16 channels all labelled for me in my Track and Mixer control panels.
It seems to work if you right-click to the track section, click insert virtual instrument und choose sitala. Idk why, but a few (very few!) tutorials doesn't work the way he's showing. Maybe because of different preferences.
I was trying this too, and didnt work. Then finally i found that we need to add Sitala as a virtual instrument which would show up 16 sub channels. Try fiddling around. It should help.

Kenny, you the best! Been relying on your tutorials since before you gave out your name! Just picked up this plugin and glad to see you showing what it can do
Kenny always makes the best videos. Helped me out immensely. I have one question though, how do you get your midi Editor to look like that? Is there a video that I missed? Thanks for all your great work!
I think it would be nice if you mentioned the other times that you mentioned the plug-in in your videos. Because obviously, you’ve talked about Sitala before. It gets a little bit confusing. “Hey, hasn’t Kenny covered this before?”
It works and plays (after recording) but there is no sound while live. Windows 11. It will work live if you R-click the track controller and select "insert new virtual instrument" and then accept the defaults (but each channel has its own track).
Unfortunately using Linux, installing any VST instruments is almost impossible... I follow all the instructions in options, preferences etc and get nothing... Hint: perhaps next Reaper upgrade could just include Sitala...
Hey Kenny an idea for a video here, do you have a tutorial on notation with Reaper? That would be cool for writing sheet of music for registering songs since Reaper has a notation module... Is it doable?
Are you by chance using Sitala on an Apple Silicon (M1/M2) mac? The VSTi runs in bridged mode in a separate process from REAPER in that case. Normally, I don't use AU/AUi plugins, but I do for Sitala, until Decomposer comes out with next version that is Apple Silicon native.
hello mr kenny i have a proplem with stock eq the ui is a little bit bad quality i cant see what the bandwith curve do exactly and this is with the og theme i hope to fix it or make the eq bigger to see it clearly
You can resize the ReaEQ screen as large as you like. Just hover your mouse over a corner of the window, click and drag to resize the way you would any application window. Hope this helps.
How do I set it so that it continuously loops while I'm editing? Everytime I click to add or remove a sample in the grid, it restarts the track from that point.
If I send to someone a project with sitala in drum track, how about the samples, are they going together in the project pack or how it works? Thanks for the video
