if the show remains accurate to history and lore, none of the jedi should be able to defeat this sith because they said obi-wan became the first jedi to defeat one in a thousand years. this show is only 100 years before revenge of the sith.

Him slowly lowering himself via levitation is very unsettling to say the least. Almost like a phantom.

The Darksider floating down in the background was creepy.

I bet when the Jedi felt the dark side radiating from that Sith Lord, it must have felt colder than any blizzard.

did anyone else get horror-slasher movie vibes during the last 5 minutes of the episode? the walking in on a dead body slashed by a lightsaber, the lighting suddenly turning dark, and finally the masked killer appearing while a suspected character (qimir) is off screen? the last few minutes reminded me of the Scream movies lol

I love how she says "What is that?" instead of "Who is that" as if she's reacting to the Dark side that must be emitting off them. This is no doubt the first time they ever felt a sith.

I will say, this scene is very unnerving by itself as the master just floats down silently and Osha just turning around and being frozen there in fear.

Whoever is under that mask has excellent body language. I love the way he casually flings OSHA aside, but with the Jedi, he’s incredibly fast and agile, wanting to disperse them immediately. Whether it was something the director/Headland asked him to perform or a choice by the actor, I commend them

Say what you will about the show but they nailed the build up to The Master. Mae finds Kelnacca dead as night falls. Sol senses something and they see something floating to the ground. The Master slowly approaches them and without saying a word. Osha is scared as The Master stands inches from Osha. He ignites the saber, briefly tricking the audience that he killed her, then throws Osha with the force by barely moving his hand. The Jedi charge and pushes all the Jedi back. Perfect introduction. I only wish this was the first time we saw him. Like never show him in the promotion/trailers aside from his lightsaber. We only here his voice in the first episode. Then end of episode 4, their he is. The Sith or whatever he is was genuinely creepy and great cliffhanger.

It’s almost like he slowly approaches Osha to study her. As if he’s wondering to himself, “why would my apprentice betray me for you?” I think he’s using the force to sense the bond he has with Osha as well as Osha’s connection to the force. I think once he comes to his conclusion he ignites his saber, almost like an act to show Osha the nature of the darkside and where in lies that power. It’s almost like he’s saying, “so you think the Jedi will protect you, stand aside and watch.” Then proceeds to obliterate the Jedi. The next episode is going to open with pure carnage.

The thing you need to understand is that the Sith have so far spent the last nine hundred years accumulating dark side knowledge and power. This Sith Lord is the culmination of that knowledge and power. The Sith are just a century away from pulling off their Grand Plan and will grow stronger by then. This Sith Lord is not yet at the level of Darth Sidious, but he is pretty close.

It's been a while since Star Wars has introduced a truly creepy, ominous villain.

Alright as shit as this show is I'll admit, that scene of him floating towards Osha was eery and scary as hell

Hat off to Master Sol to have been the only one to sense the Sith arrival, all others just followed his reaction

I think that the mask man is Qimir and he is only the apprentice, Mae is the Acolyte. The Master is probably one of the Sisters witches Also the actor of Qimir is almost in all the interviews they gave to the main actors. Its like he is as important as Osha and Master Sol in this show

maybe the best intro for a force user in SW lore yet ... that was genuinely frightening the first time .... he's already one of my favorite Sith Lords ever ...

I find it interesting that he doesn’t kill Osha. He’s revealed himself to the Jedi so obviously they have to die, but he seems interested in her. Perhaps as a replacement for Mae?

Dude this scene is amazing. The tension build up from Mae discovering the dead body and the Jedi surrounding her, the creepy music, the darksider aopearing in the background and out focus, him floating down and walking towards Osha as she's sweating in fear. It's really well done.

Now THAT is how you introduced a main villain. Both sides were travelling the hole episode to find kelnacca... only to find him dead. This guy was ten steps ahead of everyone and the fact that there wasn't any sign of struggle around kelnacca implies it was very easy for the sith to kill him. Now, take that alongside that entrance: the sun goes down and from the shadows comes this masked guy FLOATING behind osha... that defentely broke the show's childish tone. Perfect character introduction 🙌

It’s going to be Palpatine’s mom. One of the space witches out for vengeance, then she space lesbians Palpatine as a son. & this was the creation of the Sith bc of what the oppressing Jedi’s did. That’s where I see this going.

He's no Sith Lord, doesnt have the yellow eyes indicating their connection with the Dark Side, but he is a Dark Side Force user.

Why is everyone referring to the Sith as a “he?” Zero chance Disney will allow the coolest character to be a “he.” Likely a she and possibly a “they.”

So Mae is suddenly a good guy? She murdered two Jedi but is a misunderstood hero?

When "Star Wars Theory" in his Acolyte stream complained about this and said he had never 'seen a flying Sith before,' and there was a 'first time for anything.' and how it looked like 'mary poppins' I wasn't expecting a... sinister slow-fall. Here's something to consider. Mae is only an acolyte and not a true apprentice. With that in mind, is this Sith really the Master or is he the Apprentice? If he is the Apprentice, he could be training Mae to do the Sith's dirty work like how Count Dooku trained Asajj Ventress.

This scene you could LITTERLY show to someone and convince them it's from a horror movie or show.

I want to go back to the times when we thought Jar Jar Binks was the worst thing to happen to Star Wars. Boy were we wrong.

Something that adds to the uncanny aspect of the sith is the mask. Notice how creepy it is. It's not only designed to hide his face but also to inspire fear. That horizontal gap that outlines his mouth is both creepy and deeply scary. It's not only his dark side aura. It's his silence. His lack of words. He's demeanor. He knows when to advance and when to attack. He's is control.

So I have a theory. Maybe this Sith tried to execute a Grand Plan like Sidious but failed. The Jedi Order burried the case, thinking they destroyed the Siths for good, but this Sith had a very well prepared and well trained apprentice. This apprentice could be Darth Tenebrous.

The ruined a badass entrance with possibly the worst cliffhanger of all time lol… I’m not gonna worry about whether this show breaks canon until it’s over, but the pacing of this series is awful

Ok, the last 5 minutes of this episode is the first solid part of the show so far, and actually preety good everything following Qimir falling in the trap was lowkey creepy asf

This dude is the potion guy. The potion dude is the real acolyte. The master gave him the task of killing jedi. Which explains why he took care of the wookie when Osha lost her nerve.

It's a bit funny if you imagine Yoda against this "sith" and all these "jedi" together, I think the fight would last 10 seconds without Yoda even pulling out his lightsaber.

What is the context leading up to this scene? Where are the Jedi, why are they all staring at a building, and why is Osha sweating so much? As for my thoughts on the scene, the floating in actually looks pretty cool; makes him look more like a demon or something. And I think this scene shows that he's undoubtedly a Sith, probably the Master, just based on his sheer power and mastery of the Force.

Remember, when the witches practiced the forcepush to 2+ people? This looks like the same kind of forcepush. I think the villain is one of the two mothers, also explains why osha wasn’t attacked. Called it first guys!

I do not like this show but admit this specific scene was actually well done. All these people whining about “review bombers” with no actual proof to back up their claims and bitching about Star Wars Theory. That man lives rent free in their fucking heads. 😂

I'm sure someone probably mentioned it already but the dark side user levitating down wards looked very unsettling especially the methodic walk towards Osha.

The basic thing they teach you as a young jedi is to create a force barrier so you can't be pushed or choked.
