They are using props that actually light up with LEDs, as opposed to just putting all the glow in in post. Makes the lighting look a lot better. That is also why their hilts look a bit bigger, they need some place to store the battery packs!

At times, but they still become blurry during twirls and such. They really need to keep those white streaks. I can’t stand them going blurry.. it’s probably a lack of post fx and over reliance on the Force FX like props. On the other hand, I do like the glow they give off.. which was usually missing when it was pure CGI.

he wasn't as trained as a regular sith or padawan. Luke trained him for less time than even jecki and not in the best conditions considering he was the last jedi. Jecki even had lessons with a professional at sword fighting with other padawans. Kylo relied only on luke. And snoke didn't even weild a lightsaber

Remember his armband and his helmet both make the lightsabers short out! So even though they don't say it I'm guessing it's supposed to be made out of cortosis, which is a metal that supposedly can make lightsabers short out. So maybe it can keep the Jedi from Reading their mind.

That’s not totally it. Like Vader, the suit blocked other force wielders from knowing it was Anakin. The mask acts like that for Qimir. It’s much easier to read someone’s thoughts when you know who the person is.

I’m not so sure. I agree it’s been a pretty shaky start and that witch ritual scene was cringy. But nothing has actually been lore breaking yet aside from Ki Adi Mundi being alive slightly earlier which honestly is hardly the first weird retcon in Star Wars even pre-Disney. And it’s a slight one at that. I think a lot of people’s initial complaints are looking like they’ll be answered, just no one has the patience anymore

I respect criticism for a show, one piece of lore got broken and it’s honestly a super minor one and the witch ritual scene was a lil cringe. But I think a lot of people’s initial concerns are about to be addressed and that maybe just nobody has the patience to admit that maybe not every single thing Disney puts out is that bad. Don’t get me wrong some of it is but I’m actually kind of enjoying this show

Pretty certain Sol is the Sith master. Which would be pretty sick if Im correct. He fought Qimir w rage, even yelling at times, and was ready to straight up execute him before Osha stopped him.

sol means sun in some language, and qimir means moon in the same language also, the fact that sol "sensed something familiar" he also said "what kind of master hides from his apprentice with a mask", with qimir saying "you should know" maybe sol is/was the jedi master new note from making this THINK ABOUT THIS OKAY IF QIMIR WAS AT THAT MASSIVE FIRE SOL MAY HAVE CAUSED THE FIRE AND MADE OSHA BELIEVE MAE TO BE THE KILLER, THUS BEING TAKEN AS HIS APPRENTICE SOL HIDING HIS TRUE IDENTITY FROM HIS APPRENTICE I FIGURED IT OUT

Isn't the lightsabers were originally created by the Sith and even than it was a proto-saber? If I understand The Jedi didn't started the lightsabers because they were pacifist until the sith separated from them, right? I'm confused....

I am sure someone with more lore understanding will chime in...but 'sith red sabers' are 'proto' in a way because they use some synthetic crystals and not actual organic ones for those red sabers...furthermore...sith only carries a saber in order to mock the jedi...otherwise they rely on the force exclusively...as far as i remember

I’ll give the show credit on one thing. The fights have not disappointed once. The hand to hand combat is great and I was waiting to see how they would handle lightsabers and all fights involving Quamir not only looked amazing, but Quamir himself feels like what Kylo Ren should’ve been. The show is still far from perfect, but this is definitely a massive step up from previous episodes.

It felt more real than the overly choreographed stuff we have seen over and over. People smash sabers together pointlessly far too often. This looks and feels like they are really trying to kill one another with every blow.

@@xlDeathlxJosey except for the fact that they kept stopping to talk every 3-8 seconds. If you’re in mortal combat with someone who’s trying to kill you and has already killed most of your friends, you’re not going to randomly keep talking to them between swings of your weapon

@@mattydef319 the Sith was trying to unbalance Sol and make him angry so he could defeat him. Of course the Jedi are going to talk, they want to know what the hell is going on. Plus it's a show, you have to have exposition at some point to further the plot.
