I didn't. I stopped believing 2 seasons ago. I'm only interested today because so many people were talking about it. It was not Doc's fault. The players on the court are solely responsible for losing. Doc got them top seed records despite injuries, and got them up 3-1. It's up to the players to win one more game out of 3.

Embiid is the reason they lost. He gets all the credit when they win, and have a great record, and gets the MVP. He had 1 point in the 4th quarter. It’s unacceptable. Don’t give me Gassed either. He could have had a flurry to start the 4th and then faded. Instead, basically nothing.

Let's play the "woulda coulda might've" game....If the refs hadn't missed all those flagrant fouls (yes, in addition to the one called at the wrong level, he did a few more that weren't called at all, nutkickin' plus whackin' now part of his repertoire) committed by Embiid while giving him more free throws than the ENTIRE Knicks team, this series might have ended in a sweep by now! I thought the series would be a tight one that might go 6 or 7 (still could in theory), but Knicks are playing with more heart and desire and hustle, and they're being justly rewarded for that. Embiid in addition to his established reputation of being injury-prone might earn another one as a dirty player from this series...he made some pretty nasty, dirty plays as if he was playing tackle football or pro wrestling out there. Let's see if the refs allow him the same latitude to be dirty for a 3rd game in a row in Game 5.

Brunson can get all them points. That's alright consider our defense was good and we kept them under 100 points. Whats disappointing is that we aren't able to score. I just dont understand why we can't get enough offensive contribution. I don't understand why Tobi struggles so much to just score 10 points.

The way this series is going is another example why trading away Pat Beverly and Marcus Morris and getting Buddy Hield and Cam Payne back in return was a big mistake. Morris would have given you effective minutes at the center position and would have given you more of a scoring punch and rebounding, especially offensive rebounding. Pat Bev would have provided you with better play offensively and defensively compared to what you've gotten from Payne. There's a competitive spirit that's been missing from the sixers since those trades were made and I believe at the very least, this series would be tied up right now if Pat and Marcus were still with the Sixers.

@@takethat863 So you call Cam Payne's scoring 11 points in 1 game in this series him playing well? Now that makes no sense. Pat Beverly would have scored double figures in ALL of these games and he would have helped the Sixers defensively and in terms of overall competitiveness. The best you could come up with to question my comment on Pat Bev is he's about to be swept. Well first of all that's impossible since the Bucks have won 1 game and if the Bucks lose the series it won't be a surprise since they don't have Giannis and to make matters worse Doc Rivers is their head coach. And by the way, are you saying that you still would have traded Marcus Morris for Buddy Hield, who has scored a total of 4 points in the 3 games he's played? Because if you feel that way that makes no sense on top of everything else you said💯

It doesn't matter how well Buddy Hield played in his first handful of games in the regular season if he were that good then Indiana wouldn't have given him away for practically nothing, especially given the fact that for a while they were fighting to get ahead of the Sixers in the playoff standings. You could have kept Pat Bev and still got Kyle Lowry. With the injury to DeAnthony Melton, who got hurt before Pat was traded away, the Sixers should have kept Pat around in case Melton wound up missing a lot of games due to his back injury, which he wound up doing. If Pat were still a Sixer, as I stated before I believe this series would be tied up at 2 games apiece at the very least.

The 76ers have no one on their roster who knows how to close out a game ! Embiid and Maxey are great players but they need a floor general to lead them. They don't have that key player to get them over the top.
