Size Matters? 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness vs 2024 Toyota RAV4 Woodland Edition Comparison. 

I think the forester would’ve been a better comparison size wise to the RAV4

Just test drove the Crosstrek, and the one thing I didn't like right away was my field of view, the mirror was blocking my view. This could be a safety issue not being able to see to my right. Maybe it's because I'm tall. Sitting in a rav4 and CX30 Turbo, I didn't have the issue with the mirror blocking my full view. Also, taking off from a stand still, the Rav4 Hybrid is much more smoother taking off, even the CX30 Turbo was much more smoother with it's 6 speed real transmission. I walked away disappointed in the Crosstrek.

I like both a lot. Went with the Outback Wilderness because I wanted something bigger, but that Rav 4 is very cool!

These cars are from different classes. The Rav4 competes more with the Forrester. Hence the price difference.

I’m a Toyota person and I’ve been wondering what Toyota will replace my destroyed vehicle from the tornado. After watching all the reviews it seems Subaru performs better. Though I like the look of Toyotas. I know someone who has cross trek in green with some specifications and it looks better than the RAV4. I guess I’d have to drive them. 😂 thanks

helpful! thanks.I went with the subaru - drove a rav4 back in 2019 and the transmission felt clunky coming off the light. might've been improved since then but left a bad taste for me

Only thing I hate on the Crosstrek is the HVAC controls integrated into the audio screen.

Good video, size is the key point. Rav 4 as main car and Crosstrek as second car! I have Crosstrek, love it ! 👍🏻

I would take a rav4 Le gas or hybrid all day 😅

Hi Sam! RAV4 for me, the Subaru probably performs better but looks very ugly.
