I think it’s really weird how Microsoft made this backwards compatible, then not long after made it unpurchashable on the store, forcing players to get a disk copy
@@ttrauma Yeah, but that requires you to have one, and, for 99% of people, including me as I’ve tried, trying to buy it from the 360 marketplace website gives you either an infinite loading screen, or a “you’ve found a glitch in the system” error. That’s even if you can add a card, that usually infinitely loads before you can even get to the first part of it
This game was severely slept on. So fuckin real, spots were TIGHT, soundtrack was FIRE. I mean how can you beat “the boneyard” and “monster clubhouse” 10/10 🔥🔥
The grungy skate 1 and skate 2 style Is something that lacked in skate 3 the way everything looked from the lighting and graphics was just way better. It’s something that made those games unique I feel like the new skate will lack that also I hope they fix the lighting to look darker in its tones once the full new game comes out because you can have better hd graphics just with that type of lighting kinda how the last of us 2 had it
@@FardtilUshid Ps3 but I think the game is not well optimized on the console but it will surprise me that the ps3 cannot load the game when it can run kills last of us
My greatest fear is me falling for nostalgia. I was 13 years old playing Skate 3 after school then going to the park with dreams of going pro. I'm now 26 working fulltime and barely able to relax without getting smashed or stoned. I just hope there is a awesome community and we get cross platform I wan't to make friends in a game that I can relate with like OG Multiplayer era.
I've been playing pre pre alpha "Skate 4" for a bit and I could never go back.. It's still so early in the dev process and it's already the best ever made trust me!
This game was my best gaming experience of all time. Met so many friends through it that I still talk to to this day, got featured on Cuz’s blog, had a big hand in the content community for the game, have a record that never got broken. The game will always hold a special place in my heart.
@@capealio On the top rated videos section I held 11 out of the 50 at the same time with the lowest view count being at 350+. Was way hard to do cuz so many people would down vote videos to keep their’s or their friend’s video on there. Usually a video was off by 30. The next closest person to the record was 8 with two of those videos being around 50 views. On top of that it was a guy on PlayStation that was recreating the top rated videos from Xbox.
I didn't have a console while growing up ( I played tony hawk like a madlad as those were on pc) And now at 23, but cousin borrowed me his xbox for 2weeks and i got to play skate 1 and 3 for the first time. Such a bliss and felt amazing to finally do something i wanted for basically more than 10 years ;D
This game looks so much better than skate 3. The city looks more gritty and used, textures were darker and the gravity looked more heavier and realistic. Skate 3 was much brighter and felt less underground and more vert, clean and college city vibe if that makes any sense. I want skate 4 to return to it's 1&2 routes, but I feel like we all know it's going to be inspired by 3.
Arguably my favorite from the franchise. When it finally got added to backwards compatibility, it felt refreshing. Incredible. To this day, I agree. Game still is amazing. 💯👏🏼
So glas they added this game to back comp in the very last batch to Xbone and Series, it felt so weird having 1 and 3 but not 2, which has become my favorite.
I went thru a phase after I moved homes, I lost my skate 3 disc (ended up being in my old ps3 that died so it stayed in the disk tray for years). I would just play skate 2 for hours and part of me even liked it more than skate 3. Skate 2 probably has the best map imo. Such a fun map to skate and DLC was pretty good too. Excited for this new skate game.
Skate 4 Map Has to be more like the Skate 2 map and feel like an actual Real life city Skate 3 was my favourite Skate game But Skate 2 map is far better than any other skate game maps
Totally agree with the comments, skate 2 was hands down best skate game. Skate 3 looked and felt a bit lacking in character. Skate 2’s look and personality was amazing. Great soundtrack too
Haha I’ve recently started playing having only played 1 and 3 and I can say it’s the best in the series absolutely lobe the realness and immersion you get it feel like a better one and less Arcady 3
