SUBJECT takes a deeper look into skateboarders, skate landmarks & skateboarding events.
In this episode we spend a day with Canadian SLS Pro Ryan Decenzo as he warms up at his local park, stacks some clips in the streets and BBQ's while reminiscing with his good friend TJ Rogers.

Decenzo is still pretty slept on but the Blind and eS parts TJ put out in 2020 had SLAP hyped and I'd say they are as close as we can get to the opinion of the average skater.

As an old skate rat from Canada I’ve watched both Ryan and TJ grow into the amazing people and skaters they are. Super proud to have them join the ranks of legendary skaters representing Canada over the years. Keep it up boys, Canada loves ya!!

I’ve always loved Ryan decenzo. He’s super gnarly but never gets the recognition that he deserves. I don’t know why that’s the case but Ryan is definitively in my top 10 for sure !

Hard to imagine I saw this guy at the park every day when I was growing up. I'm happy for him and TJ. What a cool bromance. :) Also, Ryan has been around in the pro and contest scene as long as practically anyone, so it's a bummer that he isn't more recognized.

One of the most well rounded, naturally talented skaters in the history of skateboarding. He just does, and learns, I see alot of adaptation and always able to find a way to approach something or toss something off anything... No limits it seems like.

Appleyard, McCrank, McKay, Machnau, there have certainly been a few monster names. Wade Desarmo, Micky Papa, Spencer Hamilton, Matt Berger, there are still lots of Canadian pros on top of their game who are on legit companies.
