I think rather than all this, I’d cut the tunnel, weld the coolers back together (any plumbing to flow) and put an aux cooler behind the seat. I also don’t buy the shorter tunnel hoopla, but I’m sure I’ll be corrected.

shorter tunnel is whatever in my opinion, the big difference comes from TAPERED tunnel. once your tunnel is narrower than your track ,you can trench more without getting hung up, which is what you want

I have been thinking about doing the same thing. How hard is it to get to the rivets in the front by the motor? What rivets did u use to reinstall? Great job!!

I ran a turbo on my sled for 3800km not one single belt. Clutched and you good to go

Hah, that's getting pretty short. Your risking the chance of getting sucked into the tunnel if you fall off the back of your sled and it's still moving. Great work thou!

I did not have a single concern about getting sucked in the tunnel, in person it really doesn't stick out much and when your riding it, it would take a lot to go wrong to have that happen

No there is many reasons to do this, better snow evacuation, allows the track to dig deeper without getting hung up between carving and trenching, way straighter up catwalks, the ability to flip the sled over backwards for re-entry's without getting caught up on the tunnel, and makes the sled overall more easy and fun to ride
