I didn't make it for the live, but have to say it's not only the well researched and valuable content, it's the altruistic loving hearts of you 2 that is so wonderful. At 48 I had a complete face lift, upper and lower bleep. At 66 I had a complete dental restoration. Yes, the trip is short. Live you! Love to all from So. Cal!
I missed ur live but I must tell u that ur 1st one is one to be proud of! This great educational collaboration of realness + vulnerability, has me so anxious for the next one w/u two. I can’t tell u how refreshing it is to hear truths vs product pushing of lies. This… was truly a winner❣️👏
Such an awesome live. Love both of you. I didn't catch it in real time but enjoyed it anyhow. You have such a warm and welcoming personality and are such a pleasure to watch. Keep up the great work.
What a wonderful collaboration! I’ve been following Penni for years!!! I’ve been following you in the past few weeks. Love your transformations! I will be 60 next month!
So excited for this live. 💜💕💜 So impressed you are addressing the lower face & jowls honestly both home, clinic & surgical options. I’m seriously considering a lower facelift at almost 58. 😊
Caught this video while waiting for my husband to finish grocery shopping in a mall in central Portugal. Great way to pass the time. 😊 Super informative, guest, Gabi, and you transitioned from butterflies to pro in no time.
Gabi, coming across your channel a couple weeks ago was an answer to prayer!! My hair is thin, falling out and I’m dreading the future hair loss. The information you put out is golden!! Thank you for helping us Ladies find some joy and beauty in life!💜
Omg! Best video I’ve seen on aesthetics ever! Thanks so much for introducing us to Penny. Looking forward to checking out her other content and following along! ❤
Yeah but not every sunscreen is safe. There are so many conflicting expert advice on the sunscreen issue that I just don’t even wear it now. I will if I go to the beach though but I never do. So. 😎 Still, this video was/is very impactful 🙏🏽
I agree so much with Penn (and you) on the hyperpigmentation. A few years back, I used to go to dance classes (for 10 years) and in one of the classes I had an older woman, maybe late 70's, but with the most gorgeous, fair and radiant, beautiful skin. She had lines of course, but OMG, she was just beautiful and looked so much younger - just because there was no hyperpigmentation. I actually saw her not too long ago, and she looks exactly the same - still ageless and that PERFECT skin!
I hear a lot of advice to wear sunscreen, but I think it might be wise to put it on our hands and arms. Hands age terribly and there are days when I put actual foundation on them just to even out the color a bit and protect them, but I think it might be good also to apply sunscreen on them even to go between the car and house or building.
I had just surprisingly, recently started seeing signs of an aging neck. So… I tried using 1 of 2 creams in the morning (1 was suggested by Gabi). And at night… aft completing using tretinoin on my face… the film that’s barely left on my finger (+ I mean barely), I very lightly slid down my neck. The difference was pleasantly unbelievable! I too tho, am interested in her necklace 😊
Gabi-I foind you randomly when I searched makeup for mature women. Im 52 amd only wear mascara & gloss. Ive been trying to learn a few things from you amd I LOVE your essygoing, genuine, sweet nature. I found Penn and her FB group, YT channel 2 yrs ago & love love both. So fun seeing you both here. Penn, if you see this how often do you use your ziip? I try to do 3x/wk. Is more a bit better or not really? Thank you ladies. Would love to see another one of these videos again xo
Ladies, thank you very much! I Love you both so very much,! I found Gabi via Penny, & Summer via Gabi. All three of you are top notch professionals, & super sweet & kind human beings. So glad that I found you all! Oh, yeah, & Justin Hickcox too!
2 of my fave you tubers same place same time! What a joy! More details on the Korean growth factor skin care line you’re trying out Gabi? You are both such beautiful intelligent beauties! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!! 💋
I have tried a snail essence that is Benton’s Snail and Bee Essence. It is Korean and I almost like it better than CosRX which I have been using for years. Both are even great on sores, cuts etc.
Great video! I have a question for Penny. Recently, an aesthtician told me that if you sunscreen on your face (even if you let your sunscreen fully absorb) and then put foundation on top of it (especially liquid or cream), the foundation ruins the protection. She said the only thing to do when you're wearing foundation that will protect you is to use an SPF spray. This went against everything we hear from our skincare specialists. Is there any truth to this? Can you please clear this up?
This maybe a silly question, but when/where do I use sunscreen when putting on makeup? Before or after what step? Most of the time I just use my Supergoop and mascara, but if I’m going out and want to do the whole routine where is placed?
Sunscreen should be on neck but also your décolleté. Should not stop just at neck if it is exposed especially if you live in area where there is much sun. i.e. Florida, California etc.
Hello beauty and beautiful ladies~ This was very interesting and informative. Thank you both, Gabi and Penn, for doing this. I hope you do more…. I have a question if I could, please: I am interested in trying DRMTLGY’s Needle-less Serum. I use, morning and night, a Vitamin C Serum on my entire face and neck, and then also an eye serum in my eye area. Where, when, and how do I incorporate the Needle-less Serum into that. Thank you for your help with this.
Ok….i love the needleless serum as well. Until VERY recently I kept my copper peptides and vitamin C separate. I no longer think that’s necessary so if you try the needleless serum you can use it right after your vitamin C in the AM and/or at night after cleansing. I hope this helps 💙
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Hey Penn~ Thank you for your discount code! I do appreciate it: I just placed my order for the Needle-less Serum. I am excited to get it. I've always been much more into skin care than make-up... since I first learned about skin care from a professional when I was 17 years old. ;)
I am 61 post menopause but I do HRT and my skin is very oily now. What products would you recommend? Also my doctor suggested Blep for me but it was $7500. To me that is a lot of money. I also watched a video where a doctor Recommended doing it all at one time. He said it was useless just to do one area. I need my forehead done as I have very deep lines, also need my hooded eyes done but my doctor said insurance would not pay for it. They feel very heavy but he says it has to block your vision before insurance will pay for it. He said if I have Botox in my forehead, then it would make my eyes droop even more. I was thinking inject the forehead and maybe it will make my eyes droop enough for my insurance to pay. 😂 What are your thoughts on this. Y’all both have such beautiful skin. So lucky! I also have dark spots. What do you recommend?
My mom had flawless, poreless, even toned skin. She wore eye makeup and lipstick but never wore foundation. I had moderate acne and used to feel so bad about myself because I envied her skin. It took years to shake it and lots of skincare to find I could have good skin too!
That’s probably why she looked so young . Wearing foundation everyday can age you over time as I had a friend who would do that . Heavy foundation everyday even if she stayed in , 15 years later she looks a lot older than I do. who will wear a hydrating bb cream if I leave the house.
@@Nathalie7774 I totally agree. I seldom wear foundation. Maybe twice a week max and when I do, it is very lightweight, just enough to even out tone, but you can still see my skin, not a mask.
Replay….. I just turned 60 years young 🤗 so I guess it yeah it was the late 70’s 😱 my mom gave me baby oil and iodine 😱 bc that is what she used. I wanted a tan so bad so that’s what we used in the summers. 🤦🏼♀️. I sooooo regret that of course burns 🥵 over burns 🥵 but not mom’s fault all the moms did it. RIP mom miss you 😘
Your sweet mom just didn’t know. I’m a 70’s kid and my mom taught me SPF because she’s an Irish red head and she had no option. But it really wasn’t as much of a thing for years and years. All we can do is use it now, right? 💙💙💙
No!! It’s absolutely never too late! I 1000% know that Gabi agrees with me on this! I will say that one of the best benefits of ziip on ladies over 60 (post menopausal) is the hydration from the ziip conductivity gels. Really the best on the market. I love that ziip has a very user friendly app that will walk you through using the device-no guessing what the heck you’re doing. Thank you so much for being here 🫶🏼💙
I prefer ziip because 1. Price point is similar 2. Ziip app is superior to any aesthetic app available 3. Easy, short, doable routines that deliver both micro and nano current. That said, nuface is also great. Both of them work as long as you use them 😍💙
I haven't seen this yet but I can only say that I started to use anti wrinkle creams under the eyes to prevent wrinkles and instead of preventing them I actually GOT wrinkles from it!! It's the only area I used anti wrinkle cream and it's the only area I developed wrinkles. So it's apparent that toxic "active" ingredients made it worse so I stopped after realizing this and I haven't used any such things anymore and it seems like it halted. I don't trust skincare with active ingredients anymore...
