The Skoda Octavia RS comes in a sharpened Sportline variant as well as the sportiest RS version. If you opt for the 2.0 TSI 190 hp 4x4 engine with DSG automatic transmission in the Sportline, the cars cost virtually the same. So which one is worth choosing? I tested this by spending a week in the 2022 Skoda Octavia Sportline, where I compared the performance, e.g. 0-100 km/h acceleration, combustion in the city and on the road, as well as the overall characteristics. I also outline what changes the tested variant makes relative to the RS in other areas, such as appearance, build quality, handling or drivability, and based on this I try to assess which version of the Skoda Octavia 2022 overall is better for those who want a more powerful petrol engine in this model. As well as this, I also discuss how the boot and rear bench seat look in this car, how the LED Matrix lights work and whether the adaptive DCC suspension is worth buying. For those who are interested in the 4th generation Skoda Octavia Sportline with the 2.0 TSI 190 hp 4x4 engine and DSG automatic, I invite you to watch the video test, where I have gathered all the opinions and information about this model.
